Think this cyclist is visible? Not to your average motorist, hence the well-worn phrase: "Sorry, mate, I didn't see you," usually said when some daft driver has knocked you off your bike at night even though you're dripping with LEDs and smothered in Scotchlite.

ipayroadtax.com A Cambridge cyclist wearing a helmetcam captured himself being knocked off his bike by a following motorist. The footage was broadcast on BBC East on 20th May 2010. Viewers contacted the programme to complain about a piece broadcast earlier but these comments are played directly after the footage of Paul Jones being knocked from his bike, crassly insensitive. The BBC reporter and editor also allowed viewers to say cyclists don't pay 'road tax' - this is factually incorrect and should have been flagged as such by the BBC.
