INGREDIENTS 2 boxes Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® yellow cake mix 2 cups water 1 cup vegetable oil 6 eggs 3 1/2 containers Betty Crocker® Whipped fluffy white frosting Red food color Tray or cardboard (18x18 inches), covered with wrapping paper and plastic food wrap or foil 5 ice cream cones with pointed ends Betty Crocker® pink decorating sugar 5 candy stars 28 sugar cubes 4 pink gum balls 5 pink sugar wafer cookies 1 tube (4.25 oz) Betty Crocker® white decorating icing DIRECTIONS: Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Grease or spray bottoms and sides of four 8-inch square pans. In large bowl, beat 1 cake mix, 1 cup of the water, 1/2 cup of the oil and 3 eggs using electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. This is a cake that I made for my little girl that turned 5. She asked me for a Castle cake, so here goes. I decided to make a dreamy princess castle. The castle is on a green heartshaped island floating on a white cloud in the ble sky. On two smaller clouds there is a prince and a princess infront of a rainbow. On a cloud behind the island is the "House dragon called Bob". The castle is pink with flowers and purple titles. The castle is crocked, so it look more like a fairytale. I hope you like it.

This is the result of my following the Betty Crocker Princess Castle cake recipe fNKh75uxKN4. I have posted it to show what sort of result you can expect if, like me, you are a complete amateur. I used Betty Crocker ready made icing because butter creme icing is slightly yellow and with red dye goes a bit orange. Also the Betty Crocker icing is easier to get flat than is butter creme icing. I used mini pink marshmallows for the parapets. The small figurines are the candles.

When my sis-in-law requested me to make a Princess Castle cake for her 3yr old niece, Adriana, I was like 'huh?!' bcoz I never made one before! Then she showed me some pics and videos of the cakes that she wanted and I told myself 'ok I will take the challenge'! As this was my very first time doing a castle cake, I did a few look out in the internet and youtube and came out with my own imaginary castle for the princess. It took me 4 days to complete and did every single flowers myself. I wanted to count the flowers in the beginning but then I lost count and gave up. Purple was Adriana's favourite colour and as requested pink was added to make it a sweet little castle with pastel colours of flowers. I hope this will inspire those who wants to try to make a castle cake but dare not to!
