
Binzer and Bret Mazur, who were then going by the names of "Shifty Shellshock" and "Epic" respectively, started collaborating together in 1992, the first name they went by was "The Brimstone Sluggers". By early 1999, they formed the group Crazy Town. The band achieving a big international chart-topping success with the single "Butterfly" that reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In 2000 Crazy Town was signed to tour with Ozzfest, however they were forced to withdraw after only two weeks when Binzer was arrested after he threw a chair through a window while he was drunk.[2][3] Crazy Town did tour with Ozzfest the following year.[4] In 2002 he featured in the song "Starry Eyed Surprise" on Paul Oakenfold's album Bunkka, the track also featured on Binzer's solo album. In 2004 he launched his first solo album "Happy Love Sick" with collaborations with TC and Paul Oakenfold. His upcoming solo album "Dr. Sober and Mr. High" will feature collaborations with Will.I.am, Fergie, Tom Dumont (from No Doubt) and Paul Oakenfold.
