Within the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery and Memorial in France, which covers 130.5 acres, rest the largest number of American military dead in Europe, a total of 14246. Most of those buried here lost their lives during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive of World War 1. The immense array of headstones rises in long regular rows upward beyond a wide central pool to the chapel that crowns the ridge. A beautiful bronze screen separates the chapel foyer from the interior, which is decorated with stained-glass windows portraying American unit insignia; behind the altar are flags of the principal Allied nations. On either side of the chapel are memorial loggias. One panel of the west loggia contains a map of the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. Inscribed on the remaining panels of both loggias are Tablets of the Missing with 954 names, including those from the US expedition to northern Russia in 1918-1919. Rosettes mark the names of those since recovered and identified.

This was the Mount Nebo Presbyterian Church and cemetery in Lancaster County PA. Built in 1854, it's in a valley and down a dirt road seemingly miles from anything, although there are farms surrounding the land. The church was abandoned in 1915 until it was finally torn down in the mid 90's. The cemetery is very old. The oldest stone we could read dated back to 1811. I had not been there for almost ten years and was surprised to find that someone was just laid to rest there in the summer of 2008. The most recent grave I found before that was 1988 although there may have been one more recent that I missed. I'm glad we got the footage of the church when we did in '94 because it was only a few years after that we lost the church all together. Here is a video of some of our photos from a recent trip to the Cemetery near Delamar Ghost Town. Delamar Ghost Town is located near Caliente Nevada. It is a short drive from Area 51!

I wanted to locate the graves of some famous local people that were buried here before it got dark so I'd be able to go directly to them after it got dark. Unfortunately I didn't find any of them because the cemetery was just too big to find then in time. It covers 27 acres of land and apparently there are more than 27000 people buried there. I'll definitely have to go back there again. I did find an anomaly in one of the photos that's intriguing and it was around this time that I was telling any spirits around me to go in front of the camera. I felt a distinct presence behind me immediately after that, but I stayed calm. I just kept snapping pictures.
