I was completely amazed at this benchmark run!!! It is incredible what 24 threads will do for parallel work. I had some initial issues with the build, but I'm sure it was due to lack of experience on my part using a dual CPU motherboard. This is part 1 of 2 videos using the Asus Twin Turbo G73JH with the Cinebench 11.5 benchmark. In P2 I provide results for rendering a 5min 55sec video with the Asus Twin Turbo On and Off (preview: the difference is heat). What happens here is at full load with Asus TT Off you have a 133MHz BCLK * 13 multiplier (the orange bar in Argus Monitor) = 1.729GHz. With Asus TT On, your BCLK goes to 142MHz BCLK * 12 multiplier (no orange bar) = 1.704GHz. You lose the i7 turbo x13 multiplier and don't catch up to the non TT CPU speed (my system actually shows 143MHz TT). So i finally got up to 5.0GHz!!! Not sure why but my Cinebench score is lower than when iwas at 4.8GHz. I was having troubles loading the program so i loaded the 32 bit version instead of 64. Not sure if that could be an issue but i should be higher than where i am at.
