I was recently in CBC's Studio 211 in Toronto recording some piano tracks and it seemed like the perfect time to finally do a quick video of one of my favorite Joni Mitchell songs. It was actually really hard to find a place in Beijing that had dog on the menu - BUT we found it! I was so morbidly curious what it tasted like. And I must say - it tasted really damn good. Check out all the food on this table - it was fantastic! and the whole thing cost about 5 BUCKS! Beijing was awesome! I asked the waitress via my completely bilingual buddy I was with, what kind of dog it was, and she just laughed her head off ad said she had never been asked that before. I wonder to this day....

The town was mainly made up of white people and aboriginal people - and she obviously was quite 'different' in that setting. As a result, not many people spoke to her and she didn't speak to many people. I look back at her as a mighty individual and remember her incredible smile and pleasant character.
