In fact, that's a pretty good description of the concept Jeep that Nathan drove at this year's 2012 Easter Jeep Safari. The Jeep engineers decided to build a very retro Gladiator like truck on a modern four door Wrangler. To make it a bit extra special they added a very retro interior bench seat and lengthened the bed of the pick-up to 6 feet to be able to locate a spare tire under the bed...old school style. Plus they also rounded up some 1960s tires and Wheels making the Mighty J-12 the only Jeep in Moab this year to sport a set of stylish hub caps.

Mercedes has released first photos and details of the A-Class Concept which will make its world premiere at the Auto Shanghai show on 19 April. Mercedes shocked when they first dropped the A-Class teaser sketch last month and now these first images are really stunning. "Concentrated dynamism" is how Mercedes describes this concept preview of the next generation A-Class and we couldn't agree more. Thinking of the classic A-Class from the past 15 years, a frumpy and conservative mini MPV comes to mind. Not anymore, as Mercedes has injected some testosterone with this very sporty three-door hatchback intended to usher in a new compact class era at Mercedes-Benz. "Origins" focuses on climbing's rich history, following top athletes of today as they team up with their heroes from the past, and attempt to climb the iconic (and iconoclastic) routes of earlier generations. The First "Origins" episode features two climbing stars: Kurt Smith, who put up some badass routes in Joshua Tree in 1988, and Chris Lindner, who was sending 5.12 routes when he was 5 years old. In this "Origins" episode, Chris sets out to climb Kurts slab test-piece on The Dunce Cap, UNREPEATED for 22 years -- right in the heart of J-Tree climbing. Directed by Rob Frost, and filmed by Frost with Russell Holcomb, this is a short film about Chris journey to do the second ascent of this forgotten Joshua Tree classic. We'll examine the interactions among the mind, the brain, and human relationships and explore ways to create a healthy mind, an integrated brain, and mindful, empathic relationships. Here is one surprising finding: the vast majority (about 95%) of mental health practitioners around the globe, and even many scientists and philosophers focusing on the mind, do not have a definition of what the mind is! In this talk, well offer a working definition of the mind and practical implications for how to perceive and strengthen the mind itself—a learnable skill called mindsight. Then well build on this perspective to explore ways that the mind, the brain, and our relationships are influenced by digital information flow and also how they can be moved toward healthy functioning.
