Music video for MGMT's new song 'Congratulations', off their new album Congratulations. The music video is filmed in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona, a part of the country that desperately needs some enlightenment about what is going on in the world. Please note, this is the unofficial video for the song. My final project for my documentary class. I was asked to do something that tied together all the documentaries we had watched. So with the help of Kyle Ferchau, Jon Lewis, and Sam Saenz, I was able to make a film about passing on the information that you hear in documentaries and spreading the knowledge. Bhutan's royal wedding
2011 is the year of the royal wedding - there was William and Kate, then Zara and England rugby star Mike Tindall. Today, it was the King of Bhutan tying the knot and it was a very different affair. Dignitaries and well-wishers gathered at an ancient monastic fortress to see King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk marry his bride, 21-year-old student Jetsun Pema. For days before the wedding, monks held dawn prayer sessions in remote mountain valleys. Such was the popularity of the event, Bhutan's airline had to add extra flights to deal with the flood of visitors from abroad. The people of the young demoncracy between China and India are calling it a "once in a lifetime event." Wangchuck is not expected to follow the example of his father, who married four sisters from a wealthy family. Polygamy is allowed in Bhutan, but is rare.

In 2005 the EBU with the cooperation of Danmarks Radio held an extravaganze in Copenhagen's Forum to celebrate 50 years of the Eurovision Song Contest. Hosted by Katrina Leskanich (of 'Katrina & The Waves') and Renārs Kaupers (of Latvian band 'Brainstorm') the event featured a popular vote for the greatest Eurovision song of all time (from 14 candidates), performances by past winners or celebrated acts and video clips from the ESC's history. This is the opening of the show including a montage of some winners from past Eurovsions and details of the vote for the most popular Eurovision song of the first 50 years.
