Xbox VS Nintendo64 comparison of the intro for Conker's Bad Fur Day (which is a GREAT game by the way). It was a pretty tough job getting both versions of the game to syncronise with each other (since the intro's are not entirely the same and the Nintendo64 version runs a bit slower then the Xbox version) but I succeeded after some hours of editing. Also, the footage of the Nintendo64 version is actually from an emulator running on the Xbox. www.unseen64.net http Conker's Bad Fur Day was originally going to be titled Conker's Quest and was later titled Twelve Tales: Conker 64. Early screenshots suggested the game would feature cute characters and colorful settings. Rare had a long history of making games of this sort, such as Banjo-Kazooie and Diddy Kong Racing, and at first Conker did not appear to be any different. However, Rare started to fear that the game would simply get lost in the platforming crowd, and critical mockery of "yet another cute platformer" caused the original game to be drastically overhauled. When the announcement was made that Conker would be re-tooled into a "controversial" game with lots of scatological humor many did not initially believe it, and assumed the press release was an April Fools' Day joke. However, as the months went on, the change quickly was understood to be very real and permanent. Inspired by South Park, the game's producer, Chris Seavor, lobbied to revamp the graphics and attitude, and it transformed into Bad Fur Day. Seavor himself voiced Conker in this new version, along with all the male characters in the game except the Great Mighty Poo, who was voiced by Chris Marlow. Louise Ridgeway voiced all the female characters in the game. The game was also different from the Banjo series and (particularly, to the extreme) Donkey Kong 64 in relying far less on collecting a variety of items. --- READ THE DESCRIPTION --- Welcome back to part - 20 of the 'Conker's Bad Fur Day Walkthrough!' When the cut-scene ends, jump in to the water in the middle of the harbor. There is an eel in here that will kill you if you stay still, so swim around to avoid him. Dive underwater and swim through the looped-shaped capacitors (while the eel is following you). The eel will swim through the capacitors also, powering it up. After you do this to the three capacitors underwater, the eel will die, powering up the harbor in the process. After this is done, jump out of the water and go back to the entrance of the area. There is a box here that is set in a trench. Push the box so that it is right in front of a ramp next to the entrance (you'll learn why in a minute). When this is done, climb up the ramp and knock on the bathroom door. After the cut-scene, push the TNT to the ramp. Normally he would slide down the ramp, down into the water and explode, but since you pushed the box in front of the ramp, he'll stop against the box. That's why you did it, see? Now you have two choices: the left path or the right path. It's your choice. There will be boxes and mines to navigate, so take precaution! Once you have reached the end of the path, the TNT will sit down next to the half-sunken plane. Go to the end of the middle path of the harbor to see a previously sunken B Pad there. Press B and then you must hit the fuse of the TNT with your flaming ammo. BAM! Now repeat the whole process <b>...</b>
