This is an occurrence that happens every time that I go to a Coffee Shop. At first I thought it was a coincidence but because of constant harassment since I have been in Sydney and underlying tones of racism and xenophobia I think I have been picked up for harassment by some groups in Australia. Both the NSW Fire Department and Ambulance services both seem to have members that will harass people on the street with their service vehicles and sirens. I have been a victim of community based harassment for over 20 years. They like to pretend they are controlling "bad people" and helping the community. I have never been convicted of a crime and am in fact quite honest.

It is estimated that there are some 90000 Burmese refugees in Malaysia and one quarter of them are children. 30 years ago, after 3 1/2 years of lobbying to repeal an ordinance used to harass females wearing fly-fronted pants, Mayor pro tem Johnny Goyen signed the ordinance repealing Houston's Anti-Cross Dressing Ordinance. This is not a joke! At that time women were expected to have their zippers on the side or in the back, otherwise, they were cross dressing. Commercial sex workers today marched in the streets of Nairobi in what they termed as a necessary move in highlighting their plight. The sex workers complained about constant harassment by council Askaris, police and violation of their rights while at work. They called on the government to legalize their trade to ensure their human rights are not violated as is the case now.
