Killing corp with mage and no special attacks. :) Enjoy! It was meant to be a solo but some guy ran it at 5:20. I tried to outweigh what he "helped" by killing corp for a bit on the next spawn, making it look more like I could have done it even if that guy didn't walk in. However, only you decide whether it should count as a solo or not. I had already spent ~30-40m on supplies and this is the fourth time someone walks in while I'm trying to solo, so I'm not bothering trying it again considering how hard this was. In this video, I healed from the core when casting blood barrage on corporeal beast as barrage hits in 3x3 area*. Core will never die as it will always manage to jump away before the damage shows up, but blood barrage will still heal you. The yellow text at top right corner is just some text which displays your fps**. You turn it on by pressing '§' or '`' (usually the key left of '1'), and then type "displayfps". The fight was about 2 minutes and 50 seconds long in real time. The hp bar in the top left corner seem to be ~0.2 seconds late when comparing to the small one in the top right corner. No idea why that happened. Song: Chain Reaction - Out With A Bang Credit for the song goes to the right owners. Some information: There is a glitch that makes corps normal magic attacks (not the claws/splash attack or w/e you call it) not hit higher than your current lifepoints. Let's say you have 100 lifepoints. Corp uses a star attack and the damage is calculated to be 100 before you actually hit. It takes 2 (I think?) game ticks (1.2 seconds) before the damage shows up on you, so it's possible to heal in this time, and survive with the amount of lifepoints left that you just healed. However, the splash/claw attack (w/e you want to call it) does only apply to this if you heal the exact same game tick as it hits you, making the claw/splash attack very hard to survive. The claw/splash attack also does multiple hits sometimes, so you may be hit by 2 100s where a healing from soul split 250 hit (= 50 lifepoint heal) will not make you survive. However, this does not apply for corporeal beasts melee attack or for the damage from dark core. You may also want to note that corporeal beast sometimes randomly use an attack with the speed of 1.8 seconds instead of 2.4, which is going to mess up quite a lot of things for you, and this is the key to most deaths in my attempts. Been a while since a new video, ran out of idea but recently new prayers were released that will once again make things much easier to own. 6-8 man teams should get 14-21 kills a trip (unless you fail), which is exponentially faster than how corp was killed lets say, this time last year. Just a little compilation video of Corporeal Beast clips I thought were worth showing, had a good laugh with mates on vent making these clips ;) Trimmed some clips down a lot to only the last roughly 30 Seconds so that I could fit them on here, still missed some out like punching/kicking it to death but I'll save them for another time ^.- I wouldn't recommend at all trying to corp with this method for normal kills, we were only doing it because we were bored and it cost a good 50m+ just in hammers.
