Kingston JA made famous by The MIghty Diamonds version of "Roof Over My Head" aka "I Need A Roof" on Joseph Hoo Kims Channel One(Hitbound) label this Is the riddim in its original format which came from Larry Marshall's Mean Girl. Their is a version of "I Need A Roof" by LIncoln Sugar MInott in this im mix not sure if that came before the diamonds version yhough. I also included Ray Darwins take on this riddim although not released on Studio One(Tad's Records) it was recorded a few years ago(2007) using the original Studio One Dubplate(Acetate) remixed and perhaps re-mastered as well.
