Individual Education Plans (IEP's) are legal documents that are written by special education teachers and administrators for student with disabilities. The song was rewritten so that it could be performed for several school district administrators and lawyers at the National LRP Conference in San Antonio, Texas. Ms. Holmes is a Staffing Specialist at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind in St. Augustine, Florida. She is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher having a M.Ed. in Special Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing K-12. In each talent show appearance, this child always performs something from the movies. Otters holding hands - Rethink Vancouver Aquarium: "Sea Otters NOT Captive Otters" looks at the history of some of the known sea otters who have been held at the Vancouver Aquarium. Look closely at how things haven't change - still kept in tiny shallow pools. In March 2009 one otter was isolated from the other two. No idylic life for them. No "Otters Holding Hands" for many. If this Aquarium proceeds with a $120 million expansion it will mean more dolphins and other captives. They even plan to get river otters and beaver. In 1990 and 1993 Vancouver voted against a zoo in Stanley Park. This included opposition to keeping more river otters in captivity. The ones at that time were neurotic as a result of their cruel imprisonment. The plan was to get a number of otters and rotate them (from exhibit to back cages) throughout the day so these nocturnal mammals would be more active when on display. Two detectives of the Special Response Squad (Ferdinands, Mitchell) fight against time to solve a College Campus murder, before the campus turns into a picturesque slaughterhouse. Set over the course of one day in an American university campus, detectives Evans & Wiley race against the clock to track down the killer, with the help of ME Arbough (Zienow), of a young lady (Cornish) found stabbed to death nearby the college's lake at 8:30am. The pair obtain lists of students, and hunt the assailant across campus, but the killer is still clearly ahead of the detectives by his second murder. But is there another motive here, rather than just insanity? Sea Otters Holding Hands - Milo and Tanu
--- Best watched in 1080P --- Milo is a male sea otter, born in Portugal's Lisbon Aquarium, August 14, 1999. Tanu was found on her own off the coast of Alaska in mid-July 2004, when she was only a week or two old. She was rescued and now resides at the Vancouver Aquarium. Although wild sea otters raft in areas without kelp, they will often tangle themselves in kelp to stay near kelp beds and will sometimes hold paws with other otters to form a raft. In BC, sea otter rafts can consist of up to 150 resting individuals, but as this photo shows the rafts can be small too. update: Sadly in August 2011 Milo was diagnosed with lymphoma and shortly after became the first sea otter to under go chemotherapy. Unfortunately, Milo passed away peacefully on January 11th 2012 surrounded by those cared for him every day.
