FINALLY! Yes, I know, to whoever cares, I've been holding this one in for... 4 months? Yeah. I finally found a fix (which was hilariously simple) to uploading it. So yeah, here it is. Mind you, this isn't the best DD run there is on Youtube, and, DD being the most uploaded Demon's Crest movie, I'm sure you can find better ones. But I needed to upload this to.. feel complete. Don't expect comments about my performance, it's been too long, don't really remember. Have fun!

I did this out of sole boredom and because the FF4 SCC is boring the hell out of me so i had to take a break. (I'll explain why once i upload the videos for it.) Anyways, this is a video from one of my favorite games for the SNES and definitely the best platformer on it: Demon's Crest, here you see me fighting the Dark Demon which is actually a 'Superboss' that you can only attain after finishing the game with every single item collected. (You get a secret password.) Note:I scroll through menus so fast because when you record an AVI Snes9x slows down emulation to around 1/2 speed, though it didnt really give me much of an advantage, since i dont bother evading hits for the most part when he's in 'Angel' form anyways. Plus i'm not trying to prove i'm good, i just did this out of boredom, dont care if anyone likes it or not. =P

A perfect run against Finale Analysis' Dark Demon (no health lost, secret bonus point obtained), the final boss (stage 9-3) of Treasure's Dynamite Headdy... played on a PAL Mega Drive. Click here www.youtube.com to see a less risky way of doing this level or click the link below the video screen. If you want to see a perfect run of any other level of this game (with the exception of Far Trek [stage 9-2] and the bonus final level you get for collecting all four numbers in the basketball stage) please feel free to ask. I was most surprised when I managed to get this perfect run, if only because I missed the Mini-Head when he did his ceiling attack and was lucky (2:23). The way to beat Dark Demon is by knowing what the colours of his crystal ball mean and what head from the selection you're offered to best counter with; as I'll how explain: Pink = Those Flying or hopping creatures will appear, either use a head with a projectile attack (preferably the War-Head, as you can still headbutt); alternatiely the Hammer-Head works nicely too. Blue (not shown here) = DD will put an energy barrier up and fire energy missles across the screen. Either use the Mini-Head and hide between the barrier and DD, or grab the super-Head and jump over the projectiles. I don't think its possible to survive with other heads without getting hit at least once. Orange = DD will call upon the ceiling to attack, best use that Mini-Head, or hope that big opening is under you when it stops rolling. Green <b>...</b>

The Dark Demon is a hidden boss in the snes game "Demon's Crest", defeating him leads to the 4th ending. I've defeated him within 2:14 having 4 healthspheres left. No spells or potions have been used. Talisman and form have never been switched during the battle. The video is NOT tool assisted in any way! The window you see in the beginning is the zsnes 1.42 replay function. I intentionally get hit by the homing sphere and the spikes to become invulnerable for a short period of time. This way he only hits me 6 times with his more powerful attacks. Damage Chart for the Dark Demon: Homing Sphere: 1 damage (40 hits lethal) Spikes: 1 damage Crimson Sickles: 4 damage (10 hits lethal) Stones dropping from ceiling: 4 damage Spike-creating Energy Orb: 6 damage (6-7 hits lethal) Acid Rain: 6 damage Touching the demon: 8 damage (5 hits lethal) Usually, Firebrand (the player controlled gargoyle) has 20 hitpoints and 75% damage reduction at this point. I exchanged the 'Armor' with 'Fang' for double damage, thus having only 50% reduction. The Dark Demon lasts 35 hits using 'Fang', his Homing Spheres last 4 hits and are instantly replaced after being destroyed. Both, Firebrand and the Dark Demon, are invulnerable after being hit. This is indicated by the white flashing. Unless you have played the game, you have no idea how difficult the controls are: jump while on the gound = you jump jump while in air = you start flying jump while flying = you start falling get hit while jumping/flying <b>...</b>

Yet another round, 5th time in a row. Two very powerful boss class monsters duke it out. In the red corner, the Dark Demon, a currently under-scrutiny monster at the Realm667 message boards. In the blue corner, General Darian, a mouthy army type who originates from Rise Of The Triad. Who will win? Watch & find out. The Dark Demon is based on the Archon Of Hell. Indeed, the Archon Of Hell is found in its wad. But this is because it is spawned by the Dark Demon at some point in its life. Anyway, it sports 10000 health. Kind of makes sense, given it's massive size. It is a fast creature, but it attacks too much for it to move a lot. He throws very big fireballs of odd colour. He'll also fire a stream of N64 based Lost Soul rockets, or whatever they are. Also, he has a red fireball aura attack that occurs about 5 times before cooldown. Mind you, the monster spams all his attacks up the arse, so he is considerably overpowered. Then there's General Darian. He may not look like all that much, like Sebastian Krist in the previous video, but that's just a cover. He has an "uber" launcher that does massive damage. If you read the Decorate file for this guy, you'll see a funny note regarding this boss's power. Anyway, he has 7590 hitpoints, so he's got a disadvantage. He likes to teleport around here and there, weird as it is, to keep himself distanced from the enemy. Strangely, an enemy can keep locked onto him while he does it. Sad. Anyway, from what I have seen, his attacks <b>...</b>

A clash between 2 very powerful opponents in hate arena, The Dark Demon, a monster who was created by me vs DBTServant, one of AEOD's most powerful monsters (which aint imba) The Dark Demon is not the same Dark Demon in Mysticosan's (or what ever the name is) video, this one is far more balanced, fights different and even looks different, the original really needed improving, he is the black Korax monster.
