Here is a shot of me testing out the car in front of my shop. I dropped the clutch in first at about 2800 RPM then, wound it out to redline (7300 RPM), then hit second gear, and as you can see, no traction in second at 10 lbs of boost. At the end of the video you can see where I broke a half shaft.

camshaft selection datsun z engine. Best for street with original SU carbs - typ A - 248 / 248. For tuning with other carbs - 274 F. For all L20, L24, L24E, L26, L26E, L28, L28E engine. When you change the camshaft it is nessesery that you change the springs and rocker arms. Adjust your carbs or fuel ignition and camshaft timing. The video shows the marks of the two camshafts. The first is the Nissan "A", the second is a revised Nissan to a 274F. All offered sport camshafts for the Datsun Z are camshafts Nissan revised. The 274F camshaft, it has a mistake at a cam because the springs and rocker arms were not renewed. The camshaft is scrap metal through it. ©2007 all rights reserved
