All 56 of the founding fathers who put their signatures to that historic document July 1776 are in this video along with the state they represented and their years of birth and death. As signer William Ellery put it, the delegates showed "undaunted resolution" on each face as he signed his "death warrant". Most suffered hardship, financial loss, or total ruin; and the families of a few were scattered when the British pillaged or confiscated their homes. None of them had to do it, knowing full well that by doing so made them a traitor to the King of England, and risking execution if captured. 4 songs of the Revolutionary era are included, the most famous of course, "Yankee Doodle" sung as originally composed. The fourth song is "Chester" composed by William Billings (1746-1800). This is a tribute to my 96 year old grandmother Clarice, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), who every spring, would go out into the rural areas of western Maine to make sure that the graves of our brave soldiers were decorated with a flag. Even Ziaur Rahman the founder of BNP had never claimed that he himself did the declaration rather he did it on behalf of greatest national leader Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. In 1976 in an interview with "Shaptahik Bichitra" Maj Zia told the reporter that he did broadcast the messages after many other broadcasters. It is utter ill fate of all Bangladeshi that BNP along with Jamat Islami are trying to change the history by expunging the name of Sheikh Mujib from the original speech made by Zia. But history cannot be changed as it lingers everywhere by honest person around the world. In this video you can hear the original audio plus newspaper documents where it explicitly says that Sheikh Mujib proclaimed the independence. To who are obstinate they might say as Maj zia read the message he is the declarer. But they are mixing the word "declarer" with "reader". Major Zia was a simple reader as MA Hannan who was the first reader of Sheikh Mujibs message of independence.

Debating Slavery Clause in the Declaration of Independence: Second Continental Congress


Would the cause of freedom go on for the Colonies without addressing freedom for the black slaves? Would some in the Continental Congress let the issue of slavery derail the fight for independence? In the end they would not, they would compromise on the issue letting it be sorted out in the future. Something very important is mentioned in this video, the fact that it was the British Empire that promoted and allowed the slave trade in the Colonies. They let it set its ugly roots into the colonies until it was nearly impossible to uproot. It would in the end take a civil war and the deaths of over 620000 Americans to purge slavery from our country. Those who call our nation hypocritical based on us retaining slavery after our revolution for freedom, are incorrect in their analysis. Without the compromise on slavery during this debate and in the debate concerning our new constitution, this nation would never have existed, and without this Nation, liberty would not exist throughout the world to the extent that is does today. Abraham Washington is going to send you to The National Archives where the Declaration of Independence is located. Once inside the National Archives you will meet up with Sydney in the room straight ahead which is the Rotunda. Becareful before entering the Rotunda she has it trapped with Mines for the Super Mutants. Once you have defended the rotunda your main objective is to obtain the Declaration of Independence that is in the basement also protecting Sydney. Make sure Sydney stays ALIVE! Check on her every so often or VATS her health bars to keep close eye and offer her Stimpaks if needed. I strongly recommend that you have extra save files for this quest just in case Sydneys dies and you don't have to start completely over again.
