My 1993 Mazda Rx7 had a dent in the rear Quarter Panel that was driving me nuts. 30 Seconds with the Hair dryer and some compressed air fixed the problem for 5 dollars and 2 mins of time.

Rather than paying for an expensive Toyota Prius bumper replacement after an unpleasant encounter with a parking lot pole, we decide to attempt the do-it-yourself, armed only with a can of solvent, two hair dryers, and some touch-up paint. Half of the fun is listening to Dad's comments! Your mileage may vary! We were lucky that even though the dent was huge, it was easy to access the other side of it to push against. Dents in shotgun barrels are fairly common but are easy to remove if you have the right tools. This GunTec video covers the process of raising dents in a shotgun barrel from start to finish. Larry Potterfield, CEO and Founder of MidwayUSA, guides you through the process using a Baker dent raising tool and a light hammer. The dent is primarily raised by inserting the tool into the bore and lining up the anvil under the dent. Turning the handle on the tool will raise the anvil which pushes out the dent. The final creases are removed by tapping around the dent with a light, brass hammer. If necessary, the barrel is now ready for refinishing.
