LTD engine no1 (Low Temperature Difference Engine) This engine is made from the design of Rudy Mémin. It is based on the engine which was made for The Palace of Discoveries in Paris. The engine has run on the warmth of the human hand, but it runs much better with the regenerator. So my advice is to put a regenerator in the displacer. For making the holes I used two different hollow punches. The biggest punch was used for the Scotch Brite, ± 32 mm. The smaller punch was used to make the hole in the displacer, ± 30 mm. To obtain a perfect hole in the displacer this should be done very carefully by hand with a light rotating movement. With LTD 1 I glued the Scotch Brite sponges with white wood glue. However, by making the regenerator sponge a tiny bit larger than the hole in the discharger it sticks without glue. In this part of the tutorial we consider some various methods for improving the efficiency of our mob system. The main way we do this is by decreasing the probability that mobs will spawn in other areas outside of our spawning pads. Lighting up the surface area with torches improves efficiency at night by preventing hostile mobs from spawning on the surface. Lighting up tunnels and cave systems is also very important for decreasing the amount of surface area hostile mobs can spawn on. Most important is that we light up any tunnels in the area of our spawning pads within 32 blocks from the surface. It is also very important that we light up all tunnels directly below our spawning pads. By decreasing the unwanted surface area where hostile mobs may spawn, and increasing the surface area of our spawning grounds, we increase the probability of making the mobs spawn where we want them to. First of all, into a food processor put the diced butter, the eggs, the sugar, a pinch of salt, and the vanilla extract. Now, turn on your processor until the ingredients are completely mixed and smooth. Pour the resulting mixture into a bowl. Add the grated zest of the two lemons. EMAS well drilling is a method for drilling small-diameter tube wells by hand, up to 100 m deep. The drilling method is a hybrid between washboring, percussion and rotary drilling. It permits to drill through all kinds of loose soils, as well as consolidated materials and light rock. It will not, however, penetrate hard original rock or boulders (eg ancient river beds underground). The usual diameter of the tube well is 37 mm. What Is A Rodin Coil And How To Make One...


A rodin coil is a toroid with a wire schematic with the least acute angle possible. The magnetic feild is powerfully centered in it's center. How to make a rodin coil... 1) you need to find the circumference of the toroid. This is done by finding the diameter and multiplying that by Pi on the calculator or you could substitute the button with 3.14. you can also find the cercumference by 2(pi)R. 2 times Pi times the radius. the radius is from the center to the outer edge, the diameter is from one edge(outside) to the other outer edge on the other side at an angle of 180 degrees. 2) You need to divide the cercumference into 10 degree = spacings. Do this by taking the cercumference and dividing that by 36. to mark theses distances, wrap tape(masking)around the toroid's cercumference and mark the marks with a ruler. i would suggest using metric units because of the system of 10. 3) put a pin in each of the 36 markings. Be sure to put the pin in the center of the side. I would recommend using 3 different colors. in the video i use Red, Green, and Blue. place the pins in color sets of 3. red, green, blue. red, green blue. red, green, blue... there will be 12 sets of 3 pins. The first pin of the set will be the pin to mark the A coil, the second pin will be tto mark the B coil, and the 3rd pin will be there to mark the C coil which is open space. 4) For your first winding, glue or take the magnet wire to the outer edge of the toroid in the middle by the pin. Homemade Bandsaw Sawmill, Kentucky style


Homemade sawmill. Under $500 invested (dumpster diving not included). Cuts up to 32 inch diameter, 16 foot long. Timberwolf blades. Friend and I were talking about the store bought hobby mills and he said he thought it could be built. He was right. Lots of fun and in one month cut over $3000 in hardwood. Plans to upgrade to larger motor but for now works fine. To date Poplar siding and beams from 30" diameter, Oak 5/4 and beams, walnut 5/4 and Cedar all cut flawlessly. Non drive wheel adjustable so that blade slightly walks against the blades. Biggest touble to date has been a sturdy and true fence and dog setup that quickly changed. This motor works fine but needs to be upgraded. Looses consideralbe power at the slightest dulling on the blade. Shooting for 18 HP.
