Dionizy Placzkowski(Dennis) - Stabat Mater

1- 'Aria: Cuius animam gementem' 2- 'Aria: Vidit suum dulcem natum' Giovanni Battista Pergolesi Dionizy Placzkowski started his artistic in 1997. As a soloist with the the Polish Nightengales directed and conducted by W. Alexander Krolopp, Dennis performed "Chichester Psalms" by Leonard Bernstein at Caracalla Bath with the Rome Opera Orchestra. Subsequently, he prepared for more difficult challenges, perfecting his talent in performing the soprano solo part in the St. John Passion by JS Bach, which took place in March 1999. Dennis took part in more than 340 concerts with The Polish Nightengales (104 concerts abroad, 36 performances of Mozart's opera "Magic Flute" Bad Hersfeld, Berlin) and took part in recording of six CDs together with the choir. With his older friend Wojciech Dzwoniarski he acted in a Belgian film (L'Or des Anges) describing European boys choirs, in two Polish films (Volate Angeli, Misa encarnacion) and with Bartosz Rajpold he recorded pieces by Heinrich Schutz accomanied by period instruments, an orchestra from Berlin (Musikalische Compagney). His repertoire includes solo parts from great oratorios, such as St. Jon Passion, Christmas Orotorio by JS Bach, Messiah by Handel, Stabat Mater by Pergolesi, Coronation Mass and Requiem by Mozart and Stravinsky's Mass. A special event will be the release of the 34th CD of the Polish Nightengales, with the orchestra OPUS III to accompany Dennis. The CD will encompass 17 works, from Handel to popular music <b>...</b>
