I became curious about this game because someone else in my favorites indirectly introduced me to this game. Toshio Iwai created ElectroPlankton. If you ever wanted to know why Nintendo took interest in this guy, here's his hybrid of a shooter and a music game. Admittedly I became too obsessed with making something that sounds like a song to shoot things. So I beat Arcade Mode so I can fool around with the game in BGM mode where I can't be hurt/killed. I normally play better than this, but the difficulty's up a bit than what I'm familiar with on the FDS. I would've put Jackal and Red Fortress all in one video and called it another vs., but I didn't have the memory right now. So instead I put a response to the Jackal speed run video so y'all can still compare it. Let's just say this is one occasion where the USA actually scores a point on Japan on territorial game comparisons.

Don't forget to put the front cover with the two screws back on before testing. If you don't, the disk won't line up correctly and although it's a simple thing, can cause you more problems when you try to test it. Sorry for not including this point in the video.

What you are seeing is a legitimate short demonstration of me playing the Legend of Zelda ゼルダの伝説 (Zelda no Densetsu Famicom Disk System version) prototype. Clearly, heavy differences from the final build of Zelda no Densetsu exist, as we see in this demonstration. Changes include new music, incomplete dungeon layouts, and several sprite differences, as well as map glitches being noticeably prevalent in the dungeon. What is not shown is the incomplete Second Quest, different enemies, and other variations between the public release; these differences will be shown in the next video of me playing the prototype. This pretty much makes it one of the very first Zelda items ever to be released. The game came with an elaborate booklet, showcasing the enemies, items, and plenty of official artwork images.
