The Wonders of Disney Animation

There are 51 films that are currently labeled as animated Disney movies, all of which are along the lines of magic. Riding on that flying carpet, adventuring Wonderland, and witnessing the reveal of the king's newborn cub will always be an unforgettable journey throughout cinema. If it was right on the big screen, on a classy VHS tape, or on a simple disc, the times we spent laughing, crying, and cheering for these mesmerizing characters will stay in our hearts forever. We all flew to Neverland. We all went under the sea. We all found the honey. So 'heigh ho' you go into this video that celebrates not only the 51 movies that defined the century, but an achievement in cinema itself. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did creating it. It was quite the challenge to track down all these films (some that sadly only make one appearance), but I did it, and I'm proud of the results. "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." ~ Walt Disney The Wonderful Films: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) Pinocchio (1940) Fantasia (1940) Dumbo (1941) Bambi (1942) Saludos Amigos (1942) The Three Caballeros (1944) Make Mine Music (1946) Fun and Fancy Free (1947) Melody Time (1948) The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949) Cinderella (1950) Alice in Wonderland (1951) Peter Pan (1953) Lady and the Tramp (1955) Sleeping Beauty (1959) One Hundred and One Dalmations (1961) The Sword and the Stone (1963) The Jungle Book (1967) The Aristocats (1970) Robin ...

Disney Animation Tribute

When I heard Disney was finally making a new traditionally animated feature film, I was excited. When the general populace heard Disney was finally making a new traditionally animated feature film, they flipped out. Over the years I've heard criticism, complains, accusations made about Disney. Some of them are well-founded. Some, I feel, are not. I made this video because I just wanted to remind people: yes, the Disney company has flaws, but they've provided generations of children with classic films with beautiful animation, engaging stories, and memorable characters. I enjoyed these movies when I was four, and I'll still love them at ninety-four. Not many films, and film companies have that kind of talent. So this is my little three-minute to tribute to them. It was a bit hard to cram 50-odd years of footage into a three-minute video, so it goes by pretty fast. Some movies I couldn't get digital copies of, and some got cut purely because of time and artistic constraints. I tried to keep the films in semi-chronological order, but it does skip. The audio's a little patchy too. So I apologize for all that. And the obligatory: everything is owned by Disney. I own nothing. I take credit for nothing. This is merely a fan work. I in no way will or have plans to make any money off this video. -Song- So Close, by Jon McLaughlin, featured in Disney's Enchanted -Video- (all by Disney, sarcastic comments by me) Snow White (this movie is actually hilarious) Pinocchio Cinderella ...

To start with, this video contains: -Walt's Beginnings -Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) -Pinocchio (1940) -Fantasia (1940) If you guys enjoy this and the other videos, come and add the Animation Lookback page on Facebook or follow me on Twitter! Walking In A Winter Wonderland - Walt Disney - Animation

Walking In A Winter Wonderland - Walt Disney - Animation Lyrics / Songtext Sleigh bells ring, are you listening, in the lane, snow is glistening A beautiful sight, We're happy tonight, Walking in a winter wonderland. Gone away is the bluebird, In his place is a new bird He sings a love song, As we go along, Walking in a winter wonderland. In the meadow we can build a snowman Then pretend that he is Parson Brown He'll say: Are you married? We'll say: No man, But you can do the job When you're in town. Later on, we'll conspire, As we dream by the fire To face unafraid, The plans that we've made, Walking in a winter wonderland. In the meadow we can build a snowman, And pretend that he's Parson Brown He'll say: Are you married? We'll say: No man, But you can do the job When you're in town. Well, it's finally here. In case you didn't know what happened, I had a big computer virus, gotta have my computer fixed, understand my new editing software, AND I had the flu ( no, not H1N1, so calm, down). So in short, this video had a month delay, but I think that it's all worth it now since this is finally done. Just to tell you in advance, the upcoming parts wont be that much delayed anymore. In this part, it contains these movies: -Dumbo (1941) -Bambi (1942) -Saludos Amigos (1943) -The Three Caballeros (1945) -Make Mine Music (1946) If you guys enjoy this and the other videos, come and add the Animation Lookback page on Facebook or follow me on Twitter! Non-Disney Animated Films

This is what happens when I get tired of packing...haha. Music and films used are in the show itself. And feel free to discuss: Which film(s) did you like/dislike? Which films did I not include that you think should be there? etc etc Just remember: These films are, in my opinion, freaking awesome. Oh, and I didn't use any computer/stop motion films for a reason. Traditional cel animation is quickly dying out, which makes me sad. I love cel animated films, and I don't want to see them go.

Reusing Disney Animation

I should like to point out that I have the utmost respect for animators and the immense talent and patience it takes to produce an full-length animated feature. Did you ever watch a lot of Disney movies and get this vague sense of deja vu? Well here's a very visual example of why that happens.

My Top 50 Favorite Disney Animated Film Songs - Part One

As of this point in my life, these are my top 50 favorite songs from Disney animated films. Picking 50 songs was a daunting task to say the least. I mean, have you ever stopped to think about what your favorite songs really really are? During the process, I realized how often I say, "I LOVE THIS SONG! IT'S GOTTA BE ONE OF MY FAVORITES!" when I'm listening to Disney music or watching a Disney film. So, when doing this, I had to really consider a lot of factors about one, which songs I really consider my favorites and two, where they rank. Since this was a difficult task, I set up a few guidelines to make it a little bit easier on me to limit myself from giving in and making it my top 75 instead (lol). My guidelines: 1. Only songs in Disney animated films. No live action (or live action/animated mixture films like Enchanted). And no Pixar. 2. Songs played within the movie, but not actually sang by the character are okay. 3. No credit songs. However, if the song was played in the movie and as the credits song (there are only a few cases where this is true), it IS acceptable. 4. The song must be available in a digital format or have been available in a digital format, meaning it had to be on the soundtrack somewhere. This is one, so people can search for the songs, just in case they are introduced to one via this video that they want . And two, to keep me from flooding various random songs into my top 50 that were only little moments in the movie that didn't make the album or ...
