In this special Holiday Program we show you 2 dazzling DIY holiday gift ideas. The first is an organic face scrub made using products from the grocery store followed by a pair of plain black flats transformed into a pair of hip spiked bowtie shoes perfect for a night out on the town. Face Scrub How to make the organic Face Scrub. Step 1: Collect the Ingredients. Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Brown Sugar and an Essential Oil (Of your Choice) we used Tea Tree Oil. We purchased all our ingredients from Trader Joes. *Note - You can also use Organic Cane Suger or Sea Salt, however Organic Brown Sugar is the most gentle on Skin. Step 2: Find a good work surface such as a kitchen counter or flat table. You will need a large mixing bowl, a set of measuring cups and a rubber spatula. Step 3: Pack 1 Cup of Brown Sugar and use ½ Cup of Coconut Oil. (You can use more or less just remember 2 parts sugar and 1 part coconut oil.) Step 4: Combine the Brown Sugar and Coconut Oil in the large mixing bowl. Use the rubber spatula to stir it around until the oil and sugar combine into a think paste. It shouldn't be really runny or overly dry. We want it about the consistency of a think cake batter. Step 5: Add a few drops of Essential Oil to give it an aromatherapy element. Step 6: Stir all the ingredients until they are thoroughly mixed. Step 7: Bottle your Facial Scrub into the container of your choice and decorate. Simple tutorial for an easy way to cut up your t-shirts. Reconstruct old, boring t-shirts by cutting strips into a "V" shape on the back of your t-shirt. Just learn the basic weave, it's so easy! Your own diy style shirt :) Step 1 Cut the neck off - Follow the original seam so your cut will be even. Cut 1in wider than the original neckline for a roundneck. Cut 1.5-2in wider than original neckline for a wide, boatneck or off the shoulder neckline. Step 2 Fold the back of the shirt in half - Match up the shoulder seams so it is even. Step 3 Decide the shape of the "V" that you want. The wider, or deeper the V, the sexier and more revealing the shirt. Use a rule to mark where you'll be cutting. Step 4 Cut thin strips - about a finger width all the way down. Careful not to cut too low or you'll have a hard time tying a knot in step 7. Step 5 Stretch out the fabric to roll edges. Take each strip that you cut and pull it out so it turns into a thin and even strip. Step 6 Weave - take the second strip and put it under and over the first strip. Still holding onto the second strip, take the third strip and place it under and over the second strip. Continue all the way to the bottom. Make sure you didn't miss any strips before doing the next step because you can still undo and redo the weave at this point. Step 7 Knot - when you're holding onto the last loop at the very bottom of the V, take scissors and cut the loop in half. Double knot both of them to the previous loop to hold <b>...</b>

I wanted to try a new style for my winter rims, and instead of pinting them i wrapped them in vinyl, Costs about $10 a rim.
