Just as I Am is a well-known hymn, written by Charlotte Elliott in 1835. Elliot wrote this song about how to find salvation through Christ. It has been used by many as the call to the altar at the close of services, as it brings a quiet simple message of sin, forgiveness, and salvation to all that turn from sin and trust in Jesus. The picture of the newborn baby on the scale is my grandson! Brian wrote this song. I believe it's Brenda Janz singing the background vocals, but I may be mistaken about that; it may be Melanie Hayes. The Pacific Mennonite Boy's Choir also sings on this song. After listening to this song the first thing I say is "Hallelujah, God!". The second thing I say is "Darwin, phooey!"
