We held our 8th demonstration today in front of the store that opened in our town late last year. We did not harass anyone or do anything illegal. We kept within the confines of the law at all times. Many, many motorists, including trucks, honked their horns while driving by, in a show of support. We had 3 people (demonstrators) bring their rescued dogs with. One dog had been purchased at a pet store 7 years ago, and has malformed back legs. It was recently discovered that it may have neurologic problems as well. A gentleman who was driving by and saw us, stopped his car, got out, and told one of the demonstrators "I just wanted to tell you that what you people are doing is really good. I posted a video yesterday where I was rather upset at the 40000 or so South Koreans protesting in Seoul, South Korea concerning the importation of American beef. During that video I made a reference to those demonstrators eating dogs. I was ignorant to the South Korean sensitivity concerning the subject of eating dogs. This video is an open apology to the South Koreans for me making such an insensitive and stupid remark.
