Here is a look at the US Ski Team's Downhill and Super G squad preparing for the upcoming race season in Portillo, Chile. A training camp it may be, but these guys are all skiers and love being in the mountains, sliding on snow and mostly just having fun! Isn't that what skiing is really all about! As a racer I get to see other teams up close and its true there is way to much seriousness in our sport, but that holds true mostly for the Euros! Through these series of webisode's I want to try and show how amazing downhill skiing is with its high speeds, huge jumps, crazy courses, the occasional crash, and its amazing victories, all the while showing how much fun we have traveling and skiing all over the world! The Sella lies between the four Ladin valleys of Badia, Gherdëina, Fascia, and Fodom and is divided between the provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino and Belluno. It can be driven around by car crossing the Campolongo Pass, Pordoi Pass, Sella Pass, and Gardena Pass. In winter it is possible to ski around the entire massif by using the Sellaronda ski lift carousel. Also each winter the alpine touring ski Sellaronda Skimarathon race is held, which leads around the entire Sella and covers 42 km of mountain trails. The same trails can be mastered by Mountain bike during the summer. Die Sellaronda in Entgegengesetzter Uhrzeigerrichtung, grüne Route auf der Landkarte. Von Wolkenstein in Gröden mit der Seilbahn des Ciampinoi's folgt man die Spur n°5 bis Plan de Gralba. Hier nimmt man den Sessellift Piz Setëur. Nach dem Aufstieg und einer kurzen Abfahrt zum Sessellift Sassolungo, der zur Steinernen Stadt bringt, durchquert man die wunderbare „Steinernen Stadt" von der man zum Sesselift Sasso Levante am Sella Joch gelangt.
