Riding the delays a bit on the clean channel of the Koch Powertone, using the tc electronic G-System to get the effects, next to the DMM and BOSS RV-5. Hello everybody. It's been a while since I've posted an actual song, but hopefully the wait has been worth it. I've been writing this track for a couple of weeks now and finally did a bit of a rough mix today in Reaper. There's still a long way to go on this one but I'm pretty happy with where it's at. If you're wondering who is doing the vocals, it's yours truly :D I'm really hearing my Cocteau Twins & Fields of the Nephilim influences here - two of my all time favorite artists. As for the title of the track, it came about after I drew the Judgment card a couple of weeks ago. I interpreted this occurence as a call to get creative and resurrect my musical spirit once more! Now that I have my Morpheus pedal, I'm able to emulate a bass guitar, which is very cool. I basically just plugged my SG into the Tone Port through the Morpheus pedal and used the Sub Dub patch that came with my bass expansion pack. M83 is an electronic/dream pop act by French musician Anthony Gonzalez. It is named after a spiral galaxy, Messier 83. Luna was a dream pop/indie pop band formed in 1991 by Dean Wareham after the breakup of Galaxie 500, with Stanley Demeski and Justin Harwood (Demeski formerly of The Feelies and Harwood formerly of New Zealand band The Chills). They announced plans to break up in 2004, and played their final concert at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City on February 28, 2005. The original line-up was expanded with the addition of guitarist Sean Eden for their second album, 1994's Bewitched. Lee Wall replaced Demeski on drums in time for 1997's Pup Tent, and Britta Phillips of Belltower (also known as the singing voice of animated character Jem) joined when bassist Justin Harwood departed in 2000. Siamese Dream is the second album by the American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins, released on July 27, 1993 on Virgin Records. The album fused diverse influences such as shoegazing, psychedelic rock, dream pop, grunge, classic rock, heavy metal, and progressive rock. Despite recording sessions fraught with difficulties and tensions, Siamese Dream debuted at number ten on the Billboard charts, sold over four million copies in the US and over six million worldwide,[1] cementing The Smashing Pumpkins as a major force in the alternative rock movement.
