Here Casey performs "The Heartbeat Kid," an original composition written to the heartbeat of his daughter in utero at 20wks. You'll hear the actual heartbeat at the end. Techniques & Skills with Casey Driessen is an online video lesson program addressing important principles on the fiddle/violin through groups of short 5~10min lessons with focused attention on specific details of the main subject matter. The lessons will be for sale through www.caseydriessen.com and via "download cards" available from shows, camps, and workshops/clinics. Students will be able to download the videos in various sizes (mobile, full HD) and in various bundled packages (single, HD & mobile, full series). (Recorded. 2002, released 2008)German born guitarist Peter Driessen first became interested in music at the age of fifteen when he was inspired by The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Blues musicians like Albert King and BB King. He pursued his perfect sweet speaking blues style in a number of bands like Countdown with Singer and later TV Comedy Man Juergen Triebel. However after his studies at University he played the clubs as one of the most admired guitarists on the scene. After all Peter made a reputation for himself playing numerous sessions through the years and he also is known as a Genius of a Guitar Teacher having helped so many Musicians on the road to success like Gregor Hilden and many others. More famously Peter toured as a highly respected singer/guitarist with his loose bands formed from a pool of brilliant musicians He also was a good secret friend of Alexis Korner who sadly passed away. Driessen is respected by American guitarist/songwriter Rick Derringer as "One of the best guitarists in Europe" (Reuters).
