This is the final battle and arguably the most important battle of the Mahabharat war between the mighty Bheem and Duryodhan. This battle had been years in the making. This 13-part series will be shot in real locations to give authenticity to the characters, for example, if Akbar and Birbal have gone to a discotheque, then the situation will be filmed in a real discotheque. Krishna reaches Hastinapur where in the courtyard; he explains and argues to king Dhrusthara; but the arguments are in vain. Dron, Bhishma and all learned people are mere listeners and cannot act. Krishna wants Dhrusthara to punish the evil who want to create trouble in the kingdom and use his powers as a king! Duryodhana is provoked by Shakuni; and they want to arrest Krishna. Shakuni insists that still they have their wife Draupadi left for the game. After some initial reactions; she is put in the game and Yudhisthir looses again. Drona who is the chief gives an indication to from the Charkavyuh. The Pandavs come to know the evil plan; but are late. However, Abhimanyu; the son of Arjun, says that he can enter the Chakryavyuh and prevent the Kauravs winning and killing their soldiers; however, he is unaware of how to get out of the Chakravyuh. The entering is difficult; but if one does not know to get out of it, death is certain. With a lot of hesitation and arguments, Yudhishtir allows the young Abhimanyu to enter the Chakravyhu; they will obviously follow him inside after him! Abhimanyu explains his uncles how to enter the Chakravyuh. They are now ready to enter this evil plan and fight. Though well explained, it is difficult to implement and only Abhimanyu can enter the Chakravyuh. He is challenged by Duryodhan's son, Laxmana. Laxmana is brutally killed by Abhimanyu and the head of his beloved son lies in front of Duryodhana who cries badly; and now also goes mad! During the pause in war in the night, Bhishma and Arjun mourn on the circumstances. Bhishma orders Arjun to kill him; he had a boon of "iccha-mirityu" meaning die only when he desires and wants. He wants to die with Arjun's arrows; or else not die. As Arjun is leaving the tent of Bhishma, Duryodhana and Shakuni see him doing so. Duryodhana is angry and so is Shakuni. They rush to Bhishma and curse him and speak badly of him. Ultimately Bhishma knows that neither Shakuni nor Duryodhana can understand him and is helpless.
