Bei diesem Kurzfilm handelt es sich um eine animierte Version eines Szenarios zur Elektromobilität, das im Rahmen des Verbundprojektes „e-mobility IKT-basierte Integration der Elektromobilität in die Netzsysteme der Zukunft" erstellt wurde. Das Fachgebiet Integrierte Verkehrsplanung des Instituts für Land- und Seeverkehr an der TU Berlin erforschte im Teilprojekt „Analyse Nutzerverhalten und Raumplanung regionale Infrastruktur" unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christine Ahrend insbesondere die Nutzerperspektive der Elektromobilität. Der Film „E-Mobility Wirtschaftsverkehr unter Strom! Eine Zukunft des Elektroverkehrs in Berlin" wurde im Rahmen des Projektdesigns als Stimulus für einen Workshop zum Thema der zukünftigen elektromobilen Nutzungsmuster im Personenwirtschaftsverkehr erstellt und eingesetzt. Er sollte die Teilnehmer/-innen in die Lage versetzen, ihre konkreten Anwendungen von Elektrofahrzeugen in der Zukunft zu diskutieren. The Audi e-tron Spyder features what is without a doubt the most advanced and simultaneously the most consistent evolution of the current Audi design language, while also providing initial hints at the design language of future Audi sports cars. It reinterprets the most important design elements that already characterized the previous e-tron concept vehicles. This also ensures the necessary formal differentiation to the purely electric-powered Audi e-tron shown at the 2010 Detroit Motor Show. The two-seater is equipped with a 300-hp twin-turbo V6 TDI at the rear axle and two electric motors producing a total of 64 kW at the front axle. The Audi e-tron Spyder's low total weight of 3196 lbs combined with the high-torque TDI and the two electric motors results in respectable performance. The car accelerates to 60 in less than 4.5 seconds, and top speed is electronically governed at 155 mph.

TW4XP was designed as a project vehicle to participate in the Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE, a competition for vehicles capable of achieving over 100 MPGe. From the very beginning the design was aimed at later assembly-line production, as well as complying with the strict competition guidelines and on-road safety tests. The TW4XP completed all technical, safety and MPGe challenges required to win the X PRIZE in the Alternative Side-by-Side class, however as this division was the only one to have more than one successful competitor which required a final speed-based race to determine the winner. Out of 136 original competitors, Project TW4XP finished third, achieving the lowest energy consumption in the final race. The chassis is a masterpiece of engineering, proven by the X PRIZE trials: throughout the rigorous X PRIZE challenges the light-weight and well-balanced body exhibited reliable stability and intuitive handling during both daily driving and high performance tests. The punch of the nearly silent electric drive train and stability while carving corners sends a convincing message that the TW4XP is built not only for high efficiency but also pure driving pleasure. Sorry, I used a bit of the in-game recording tool (which sucks) it said it was on high quality but it doesn't look too HQ to me.. I used fraps in the second half of the video but I had to mess with the fraps settings because it slowed down the game so much. Anyways... without fraps/in-game recording tool my fps is usually 25-35. It plays pretty smooth except the Create-a-style tool is slow.
