BIOS settings for 3.6 GHz E8400 overclock on Asus P5N-D
Finally after hours of trying to fing a stable overclock voltage that wouldnt lock up in 3DMark06 or OCCT i found it. I am now trying to find a stable voltage for 3.825 GHz and will post a video once i do.If people think this voltage is high its not at all remember about voltage drop once you log into windows the voltage drops in windows its 1.2640v. Crysis Warhead: All the Fury on E8400/Sapphire 3870 (HD)
This is a play through of the final mission in Crysis Warhead "All the Fury". An excellent ending to the game in my opinion, chaos is everywhere. As always, the game is gorgeous. I'm running it at 1280 x 800 instead of the usual 1440 x 900 for recording purposes. Everything is set to high and the difficulty setting is set to normal. (no configs were used nor cheats) I added the "Train Theme" in the beginning until Psycho picks up the PAX. C2D E8400 OverClocked @ 4200 Mhz AIR - HOW TO [HD]
Did some overclocking for my friend. I sold him my Akasa NERO 967 cooler and managed to OC it to 4.2 Ghz. Stable? Didn't have time to do proper tests (1h+ Prime testing). Was stable for 10 min. running Small FFT's tests and at some game benches. The computer is owned by ''Pajo13ply'' so you should ask him about stable clocks. Click here for his channel: www.youtube.com I also used high VCore of 1.425 volt but the Akasa NERO does its job excellent ;) I am sure it can run at much lower VCore. What is keeping me from higher OC? Memory... He has 4x1 GB 800 Mhz DDR2 Memory modules. MOBO allows min. speed of 667 Mhz and when we overclock FSB from ~333 to ~467 we also increase memory speed to @ 935 Mhz. I increased Memory voltage from 1.8v to 2.0v and increased latency to 6-6-6-18. Could go higher with both but it's not my computer .... :D :-P I reached 4250 Mhz in Windows but the memory was not so happy... I have a feeling that the chip was really overclockable and 4500 Mhz should be no problem on faster memory modules. :) Well, next time. So yeah, did this in an hour or so, he came to me with his ''gear'' and left me with supercharged system -.- ALso, he owns 9600 GT and he is looking forward to get a new video card. Testing out crysis on my new rig = ). Ingame settings were 1280x960 all high. I could of done very high but then frapsing would lag. I was getting 35+ FPS and 25+ while frapsing. As with Crytek's previous game Far Cry, Crysis is an open-ended first-person shooter game with many ways to meet objectives. The player controls a special forces soldier named Nomad whose weapons can be customised without pausing the flow of time, for example changing firing modes, changing scopes or adding sound suppressors. The player is also capable of selecting various modes in Nomad's military prototype "Nano Suit" which draw power from the suit's energy. When the suit's energy is depleted, no modes can be used and the player is more vulnerable to damage before the suit recharges. Ran Prime 95 for a while and I deem it stable. More to come 4.1ghz stable 24/7 is the goal not worried about vcore at this point will go up to 1.40v or so if temps stay good. This PC runs folding@home 24/7 on GPU and CPU as well.
