This is a video tutorial of installation of the Macht Schnell e9x M3 Performance Underdrive Pulleys. Machined from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum, Macht Schnell Performance Underdrive Pulleys are strong as well as lightweight to limit parasitic drag from the accessories within a moderate level for maximum performance on or off the track. After machining and engraving, pulleys are then T3 hard anodized for additional strength, anti-corrosion & wear resistance. Our DualDrive design replaces the Crank Accessory & Power Steering Pulleys, resulting in a 9-14 HP and 7-9ft. lbs TQ gain from reduction in power required to turn accessories and an increase in accessories lifespan due to lower speed. Dinan's lightweight crankshaft pulley is constructed of Aircraft grade billet 6061 aluminum that is anodized black and engraved. It does not modify factory harmonics or dampening and safely underdrives the belt driven water pump, alternator, AC and power steering to reduce parasitic power loss on the M3 engine. It produces a peak gain of + 11 horsepower @ 8400 rpm and + 7 lb-ft torque @ 8400 rpm on a stock car.

Dinans high performance rear toe link adds precision and predictability when the BMW M3 is driven to the limit. The stock rear toe link is built with rubber bushings and a curved foraged alloy rod which is designed to flex. During hard acceleration this flex allows the rear wheels to have excessive toe change under hard acceleration and braking. All of this flex in the stock toe link causes the M3 to be unstable. Dinan stops the flex by replacing the rubber bushings with Teflon coated machined steel rod ends and the OEM curved bar with a straight billet aluminum rod, thus adding stability. The Dinan rear toe link also incorporates a hex nut shaped center to aid in the necessary fine adjustment of the toe link that is tough to achieve using the stock link. This 2009 BMW E90 M3 now boasts 200 cell High-Flow catalytic converters, 2ndary catbypass X-Pipe with resonators, and the newly designed Maxflo mufflers with dual-style polished tips. Constructed form 14-16 gauge, CNC mandrel bent T304 stainless steel that is guaranteed for life. Maxflo mufflers improved +10HP/7ft-lbs of torque to the wheels @ 7300 RPM. Full system with the addition of the high-flow catalytic converters and X-Pipe is 33HP/27 ft-lbs of torque. This is a video tutorial of installation of the Macht Schnell e9x M3 Stage 2 Intake Charge Kit. Designed under the idea of function over form, Macht Schnell is the first to develop a proven intake system that compliments the already efficient M3 air box. By replacing the restrictive stock filter with a larger, more free-flowing performance filter the engine is able to breathe air easier. Also replaced is the stock, accordion style intake elbow that connects the air box to the intake manifold. The Macht Schnell replacement Intake Charge Pipe (ICP) has very smooth and glossy interior walls and is 18% larger by volume, eliminating the turbulence and resistance that the stock elbow produces.
