Easton became famous for being the focus of an episode in the British television program The Big Time, which recorded her attempts to gain a record contract and her eventual signing with EMI Records. Easton rose to fame in the early 1980s with the pop hits "9 to 5" -- known as "Morning Train" in the United States and "For Your Eyes Only", "Strut", "Sugar Walls", "U Got The Look" W/Prince, and "The Lover In Me". She went on to become more successful in the United States and Japan, working with Prince, Kenny Rogers, Luis Miguel, LA Reid & Babyface, Nile Rodgers, and other prominent vocalists and producers. In 2000, Easton co-starred with David Cassidy in At The Copa, a show in Las Vegas at The Rio Hotel for one year. "We've Got Tonight" (originally titled "We've Got Tonite") is a 1978 song written by American heartland rocker Bob Seger, off his album Stranger in Town. A melodic, piano-based seduction ballad, it was a hit single for Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, reaching number 13 on the US pop charts and becoming a mainstay of adult contemporary radio airplay ever since. Seger's recording was not an immediate hit in the UK, reaching number 41 there, but made it to number 22 during a 1995 re-release. In 1983, country-pop star Kenny Rogers recorded the song as a duet with Sheena Easton, and made it the title track of his album We've Got Tonight. WORCESTER, Mass. -- A bouncer at a Worcester club is now facing several charges. Those charges include assault, robbery and kidnapping. The video is getting a lot of attention on YouTube. One moment the strip club's bouncer looks at the camera and smiles, and then he throws a punch in the face. The bouncer, identified by Worcester Police as 35-year-old Easton Byfield, strikes the victim after accusing him of selling drugs inside the club. Byfield locked the door and the punched him a second, third and then fourth time in the bathroom of the club. Police say there is no evidence at all that the 25-year-old victim did anything wrong. "We don't know if this is just one isolated incident or if this is something he's been doing and shaking down people in the past," said Sgt. Kerry Hazelhurst of the Worcester Police Department. "Pretty much what this looked like was a shakedown. This video that we have that we took off of YouTube is a pretty graphic in detailed video. It's a great piece of evidence. It pretty much leaves it with little doubt on what occurred and what went on." Police say Byfield stole $300 out of the victim's wallet and called it the victim's "sacrifice." 7NEWS caught up with Byfield at his condo complex while he was walking two little dogs.
