Metallica - Slither - ReLoad [6/13]

''Slither'' is the sixth song on Metallica's album ''ReLoad'', released in 1997. Lyrics: Don't go looking for snakes you might find them Don't send your eyes to the sun you might blind them Haven't I seen you here before? Oh, watch the puppets dancing Yeah, see the clowns fall down Hey, tie your tap shoes tightly Yeah, wear them into town See you crawling See you crawling in Don't go looking for snakes you might find them Don't send your eyes to the sun you might blind them Haven't I seen you here before? There ain't no heroes here No, no more Oh, play the game so nicely Oh, check, it's your move now Yeah, we're standing in this jungle Yeah, with serpents I have found See you crawling See you crawling in Don't go looking for snakes you might find them Don't send your eyes to the sun you might blind them Haven't I seen you here before? Have your heroes disappeared? See you crawling See you crawling in So don't go looking for snakes you might find them Don't send your eyes to the sun you might blind them Haven't I seen you here before? No, there ain't no heroes here Haven't I seen you here before? No, there ain't no heroes here Don't go looking for snakes you might find them Yeah, Haven't I seen you here before? Have your heroes disappeared? Don't send your eyes to the sun you might blind them
Aerosmith - Walk This Way - Toys In The Attic

Be sure to check my other videos! "Walk This Way" is a song by American hard rock group Aerosmith. It was written by Steven Tyler and Joe Perry. It was originally released as the second single from their 1975 album Toys in the Attic. It peaked at Number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 1977, part of a string of successful hit singles for the band in the 1970s. In addition to being one of the songs that helped break Aerosmith into the mainstream in the 1970s, it also helped resurrect their career and revolutionized the new hybrid sub-musical genre of "rock and rap", or the molding of rock and hip hop music when it was covered by rappers Run-DMC in 1986 on their album Raising Hell. It became an international hit and won both groups a Soul Train Music Award for Best Rap - Single in 1987. The song was also covered by the UK girl groups Sugababes and Girls Aloud as the official Comic Relief single in 2007. In 2010 it was confirmed that UK singer Melanie C will release her cover version of the song in late 2010. The song starts out with the famous two measure drum beat intro by Joey Kramer, followed up the equally famous guitar riff by Joe Perry. The song then goes into the verse, with a steady drum beat and bassline by Tom Hamilton forming as the backbeat, with dueling guitars by Joe Perry and Brad Whitford. Though not verified, it is believed by some that an uncredited guitarist contributed to the song, including the solos. The lyrics, which tell the story of a high ...

Metallica - The Memory Remains - ReLoad [2/13]

"The Memory Remains" is a song by Metallica from their 1997 album ReLoad. It was first performed live in a "jam" version on July 2, 1996. The song is about a once-great, now forgotten celebrity who is desperate to regain her fame but is driven half-mad with her obscurity. It may be a reference to the film Sunset Boulevard. The song was the first single from the album. It was written by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. The song was performed on the December 6, 1997 edition of Saturday Night Live when Metallica was the musical guest. It was later performed with the San Francisco Symphony (conducted by the late Michael Kamen) on S&M. The single was successful, hitting #28 on the Billboard Hot 100, #3 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and #13 on the UK Singles Chart. It was Metallica's last appearance in the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 until 2008's "The Day That Never Comes". The "Memory Remains" music video features a surreal, anti-gravity concept. The band plays on a large, suspended platform making full and continuous rotations throughout the performance, like an enormous swing. The platform and band are actually stationary and the room spins around it, like the ride "Hex" at Alton Towers in the UK. Marianne Faithfull sings in a dark corridor and turns the crank of a musical instrument. In some scenes money rains down, an allegorical reference. According to Encyclopedia Metallica, the video was shot at the Van Nuys Airport and cost $400000, with the large platform ...
