Height: 181 ft Drop: 176 ft Max speed: 70 mph Inversions: 0 Duration 1:35 min El Toro is very different from a traditional wooden roller coaster because it is a prefabricated wooden roller coaster. This means that instead of trackers cutting, shaping, and laying down the track on site by hand, the track is laser cut in a factory. This means that the track is manufactured to a higher degree of precision than could ever be achieved by hand. The track is also made so that it snaps together like Lego pieces and is made of more layers of wood that are tightly bonded together instead of nailed together by hand like a traditional wooden roller coaster. This has three major benefits, two being to the park and the other being to the riders. The "Plug and Play" aspect of the coaster speeds construction of the coaster since track does not have to be completely manufactured on site. In addition, because of the speed of construction, the costs of building the coaster are lowered due to fewer manhours spent on the construction. The riders are subject to a coaster that is as smooth as steel. Roller coaster enthusiasts know that aspect takes away from the ride since it lacks the character of a traditional wooden roller coaster. Others appreciate its incredible airtime. El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure
This is the off ride POV of El Toro at Six Flags in Jackson, NJ. The plot of land that this coaster sits on has had two pervious coasters on it. Te first one was Ultra Twister, it was a full circut steel Pipeline coaster from Togo. It ran on this spot from 1986-1988. Ultra Twister was a well traveled coaster as well. It was at two prevoius Six Flags parks and they were Six Flags America in the Washington DC area and Six Flags AstroWorld which was in Houston. Next on this site was Viper, another coaster from Togo, and it ran here from June of 1995 to 2004. A piece of Viper actually still exists as El Toro uses Vipers old station. Done with the history lesson and now on to El Toro. This ride was manufactured by Intamin AG and opened here on 6/12/2006 and is currently ranked 4th in Amusement Today's Best Wooden Roller Coaster in the World. It has a length of 4400ft/1341m, with a height of 181ft/55.16m, and a drop of 176ft/53.64m with the first drop at an angle of 76 degrees. El Toro has a top speed of 70mph/112.65kmh and a total ride time of 1 min 42 sec.

This is a review of the guitar package that i recently bouht after about a month of reviewing many of a similair price. I think i made a good choice... The original song for this was TTFAF by Dragonforce but rYouTube has been clamping down on Copyright infringement lately and they made me take the song off and replace it with one of their own. This has to be the best wooden coaster anywhere! All I can say is wow and that the video doesn't do this ride justice. It is the steepest drop for any wooden coaster in America and is so fast! Even the climb up is really fast. Tons of air time on every drop.
