the beatles "eleanor Rigby" with lyrics

Ah, look at all the lonely people Ah, look at all the lonely people Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been Lives in a dream Waits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door Who is it for? All the lonely people Where do they all come from? All the lonely people Where do they all belong? Father McKenzie writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear No one comes near Look at him working. Darning his socks in the night when there's nobody there What does he care? All the lonely people Where do they all come from? All the lonely people Where do they all belong? Ah, look at all the lonely people Ah, look at all the lonely people Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with her name Nobody came Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave No one was saved All the lonely people Where do they all come from? All the lonely people Where do they all belong?

The Gathering - Eléanor

Eléanor : -------- Underneath the mask you've buried yourself into It's coal-black I am tired of the gulping that you do Every day a new face What if I unscrew Your own identity Wouldn't you guess there's nothing left of you? The quicksand of life drags us Down into the circle One day. we might not catch you I feel sorry for what you try to do Breaking others down. to try and to pursue Your own selfish interests I am starting to get sick of you Whatever happened ever since you left You make yourself and me look like fools

Jazz doesn't really fit my voice very well, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm in love with it. I also felt like this song would be the perfect opportunity to prove I don't use pitch correction. There is an awful lot of reverb on this song (more than I normally would use), but I figured since there are a few solos you would clearly be able to hear that I don't use any correction software (especially on the 2 soprano solos haha) It would really make my day if you would like, subscribe, and share this with everybody you know. Like I said, no pitch correction was used (or will ever be used). This will most likely be the first and last vocal jazz piece I do (unless I find something really cool). Because, as you'll hear, jazz doesn't work with my voice as well as classical and barbershop do ..and in case anyone is wondering my jazz ensemble won silver --Arranged by Paris Rutherford--

Lindisfarne - Lady Eleanor 1971

Beautiful track from debut LP 'Nicely Out Of Tune'. Here in single edit version with different vocal and little bit different mix. Great tune. Bashee playing magician sitting lotus on the floor Belly dancing beauty with a power driven saw Had my share of nightmares, didn't think there could be much more then in walked Rodrick Usher with the Lady Eleanor She tied my eyes with ribbon of a silken ghostly thread I gazed with trouble vision on an old four poster bed Where Eleanor had risen to kiss the neck below my head and bid me come along with her to the land of the dancing dead But it's all right, Lady Eleanor All right, Lady Eleanor I'm all right where I am She gazed with loving beauty like a mother to a son like living, dying, seeing, being all rolled into one Then all at once I heard some music playing in my bones the same old song I'd heard for years, reminding me of home But it's all right, Lady Eleanor All right, Lady Eleanor I'm all right where I am Then creeping on towards me, licking lips with tongues of fire a host of golden demons screaming lust and base desire and when it seemed for certain that the screams could get no higher I heard a voice above the rest screaming 'You're liar' But it's all right, Lady Eleanor All right, Lady Eleanor I'm all right here in your arms

Eleanor Powell - "Duchess of Idaho" Cameo

Eleanor Powell's last big-screen appearance - other than clips in compilation movies of the 1970s-90s ("That's Entertainment" and its successors) - was a cameo in this 1950 film. MGM had moved on from lavish tap dance productions to extravagant water ballets, with Esther Williams as their new female star. Eleanor spent the next few years leading an Emmy award-winning local religious show for children, while raising her son Peter. In the early 1960s, after her divorce from Glenn Ford, she made a very successful comeback as a nightclub entertainer, dancing as well or better than in her earlier days, according to the critics.

"Eleanor Rigby / I Want You (She's So Heavy)" Soulive - Live at Brooklyn Bowl

In honor of Soulive's new release, Rubber Soulive (Sept 14 from Royal Family Records), we are releasing this SNEAK PREVIEW of footage compiled during the filming for the forthcoming "BOWLIVE" DVD from Shine A Light Productions & Royal Family Records. Shot on March 5th, 2010 as part of Soulive's now-legendary residency at Brooklyn Bowl, this selection combines two tracks on the forthcoming Beatles tribute. Both "Eleanor Rigby" and "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" will appear on the 11-track album. Recorded over four days at drummer Alan Evans' own Playonbrother Studios in upstate New York, Rubber Soulive presents the band back in its original trio format. After a handful of albums experimenting with different vocalists and horn sections, it's apparent from the album's opening track, a greasy rendition of "Drive My Car," that a return to form was in order. For the next 40 minutes, Soulive add their inimitable stamp to one classic after the next from The Beatles' adored catalog. A stately bounce informs "In My Life" punctuated by a majestic organ break courtesy of Neal Evans. "Eleanor Rigby" finds Alan pushing insistent syncopation into the backbeat and Neal covering a full string section with his two hands. A gorgeous rendition of "Something" makes clear that while Krasno can get down with the best of them, he can also dig deep into the heart of a ballad as he rings every last drop of emotion from the classic George Harrison melody. The trio rounds out the set with a three ...
