Not satisfied with simply controlling 120 pound robots with a Microsoft Surface, one of the lead programmers from this video ( youtube.com and youtube.com ) took a week off and hacked together an amazing on-screen joystick driver for Windows and the Microsoft Surface. Eric McCann's adaptation of the DREAM Controller is based on Mark Micire's PhD research www.cs.uml.edu and can provide all of the functionality of a physical joystick through multi-touch interaction. By simply placing five fingers on the table, the joystick is dynamically re-sized and oriented to the user's hands automatically on every hand placement. It can also be moved to any position of the screen by dragging the index and middle fingers. This is a video review of my recently acquired Dingoo A330 portable game system, purchased from www.ankaka.com. The Dingoo A330 is the Dingoo Technology successor to the popular budget emulation handheld; the Dingoo A320. The hardware spec is mostly the same but the system has 64mb of RAM, comes with a better LCD screen and later firmware revision, and supports the use of a 2.4Ghz wireless joypad to make playing the games easier when hooked up to your TV. This review was done after about 2-3 weeks of ownership, to ensure that the buttons and joypad were properly 'broken in' and that I'd had chance to experiment with the large range of software available for both the native operating system and the user-created port of Linux. Although many Dingoo owners have the A320 and have developed specifically for it, nearly all of the community-created software works just the same (or better) on the slightly improved A330 spec and the more ergonomic design makes it a better choice for anyone considering which model to buy. You also avoid the A320 'version minefield' which gave varied results with the old system as it was manufactured by various Dingoo company spin-offs. Apologies for the quiet sound but I've added notes where necessary, so please rate this video or comment if you have any questions.

PCSX2 is a PS2 emulator that is becoming more and more popular with each passing day. Its developers are working hard on bringing new features, improving emulation speed, and increasing compatibility with available games. GTA Vice City Stories is one of the games I wanted to play the most, as it was never released on PC. The PS2 version is a PSP port. While the game really impresses on PSP, it's doesn't really bring anything new compared to the previous games of the series. Well, not much, anyway. It's still a nice game, though at times a very crazy one, and I especially like the business empire idea. That's something I'm really hoping to see in the next GTA game from the HD consoles era. If we combined the graphics the RAGE engine offers with San Andreas' world and storyline, adding to that the various sideline features from all the GTA chapters, we'd get a perfect game that could be played forever. The emulator itself works really well with this game. I haven't encountered any significant glitches or problems that would make the game impossible to play. I've completed over 30 missions so far, and if I was forced to repeat any of them (and I sure was), it was just because of the craziness we have to fight with most of the time. Some missions can really give you a headache. PCSX2 requires pretty powerful hardware to run games smoothly, especially in hardware mode when rendering at high resolutions. On the GBATemp forums I said that the Pokemon games could not be emulated by the DSTWO. I was wrong, and I'm sorry to anyone I mislead. What happened to me really DID happen, but it wasn't the software's fault, it was the rom itself. I was under the impression these would work because I pulled them from my R4 (which I had on there for the EZ 3 in 1 Slot 2 device). Apparently this was the only issue, after getting clean roms, they load fine.

Amiga A1200 running Fusion Mac emulator. My Amiga specs are A1200T Blizzard 603+ PPC 175mhz 68060 50mhz 256mb RAM.OS3.9 BB1+2, Mediator, Voodoo 3 P96. Indivision 1200 AGA SD/FF This emulator is a 68k application. It makes no use of the PPC chip on the BPPC. The smoothness of the flight sim is amazing! It is running at 1024x768. Certainly no native Amiga flight sim can compete with it. This is of course due to limitations in the AGA chipset. Had the Amiga survived, I have no doubt that full RTG flight sims would have been released....
