Ennio comes to Hollywood by scaring the hell out of it. He updates "Il Giardino Delle Delizie" (1967) with a disco groove, slashed by satanic chorales, a fuzzy guitar lead, gladiator fighting horns, and punctuated by a cracking bullwhip! Kinky and terrifying. -From, "PER QUALCHE DOLLARO IN PIU" (Italy, 1965) -"FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE" (USA) The middle piece in the 'Dollars' trilogy, between "A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS" and "THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY". Starring Lee Van Cleef, Gian-Maria Volonte, Klaus Kinski, and Clint Eastwood as 'The Man With No Name'. This song is named "La Resa dei Conti" on the original Italian soundtrack. It's called by its English title here to avoid confusion with the western film "La Resa dei Conti" (The Big Gundown, 1966). Wandering chimes set the stage for a showdown, with the hard spanish surf guitar spotlighting the cruccial moment; then demonic organ amps the instensity, before conquistidore horns come in so bold they could punch through stone. Jack Beauregard, once the greatest gunslinger of the Old West, only wants to move to Europe and retire in peace. But a young gunfighter, known only as "Nobody", idolizes him and wants to see him go out in a blaze of glory. ENNIO MORRICONE - Man With A Harmonica

dropped D tuning down 1 fret Once Upon a Time in the West (Italian: C'era una volta il West) is a 1968 Italian epic spaghetti western film directed by Sergio Leone for Paramount Pictures. It stars Henry Fonda cast against type as the villain, Charles Bronson as his nemesis, Jason Robards as a bandit, and Claudia Cardinale as a newly widowed homesteader with a past as a prostitute. The screenplay was written by Leone and Sergio Donati, from a story devised by Leone, Bernardo Bertolucci, and Dario Argento. The widescreen cinematography was by Tonino Delli Colli, and Ennio Morricone provided the film score. In Europe, the film was a substantial box office success, playing for multiple years in some cities. However, it was greeted with a mostly negative critical response upon its 1969 theatrical release in the United States and was a financial flop. The film is now generally acknowledged as a masterpiece and one of the best western films ever made.[1][2] In 2009, it was named to the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for being "culturally, historically or aesthetically" significant and will be preserved for all time.[3] Claudia Cardinale as Jill McBain Henry Fonda as Frank Jason Robards as Cheyenne Charles Bronson as Harmonica Gabriele Ferzetti as Morton Paolo Stoppa as Sam Woody Strode as Stony Jack Elam as Snaky Keenan Wynn as Sheriff Frank Wolff as Brett McBain Lionel Stander as Barman Al Mulock as Knuckles
