As President Ali Abdullah Saleh clings to power in Sanaa, he withdraws loyalist security from south Yemen, they leave behind their weapons, and several towns fall to Ansar Al-Sharia which is an extremist violent sect. The revolutionary units of the Yemen Free Army and those that do not pledge allegience to the president stay on, by contrast, to fight Ansar Al-Sharia and retake the towns. The revolutionary forces are aided by local tribes who have also taken up arms against Ansar, the local tribes being very crucial due to their knowledge of the areas and the people in them. This video shows the public execution by Ansar of one such local fighter in the town of Ja'ar. He was involved in a gun battle against Ansar in which one of the Ansar was killed. He was summarily sentenced to death for "murder". The tarpaulin is laid for him. At 0.30s the condemned can be seen saying his last prayers. At 2.40 the car is removed and the condemned comes forward. His execution takes place at the end by gun shot to the back of the neck/head while he is lying down. The blurry film - apparently from a hidden camera - appeared to show one man being shot in Yuson town near the border with China on March 2, 2005. Three gunmen each fired one shot at the prisoner who was tied to a pole. Another female defendent was sentenced to10 years of labor camp. The video was carried out of North Korea by several defectors. It was filmed by unnamed residents of the Stalinist state. It decided to publicize the tape after determining witness accounts of the executions matched the images captured on film, the statement said. A Seoul-based group called the Commission to Help North Korean Refugees said last month that North Korea had executed 70 defectors who were captured in China and sent home to discourage its citizens from fleeing the country. The number of people fleeing North Korea decreased drastically following the executions, the group said. A trickle of defectors from the communist North has swelled into a steady flow in recent years as more attempt to flee hunger and political repression in their homeland. Nearly 1900 North Koreans defected to the South last year, an increase of almost 50 percent from the year before. Update - Hammer Of Dawn Execution is now linked through an annotation in the video. All of the executions you can perform in the Gears of War 3 beta. The only execution that's missing is the Hammer of Dawn execution, as the weapon isn't included in the beta. The retro Turret is also missing if it has a special execution, but I don't think it does. It's also not in the beta. Just thew this together since 2 of the maps are going away for a few weeks, and both of them have weapons you can only use on those 2 maps. My favorites are the Scorcher and Lancer executions. The team specific ones are pretty awesome too. Executions are ordered from Basic - Starting Weapons - Pickup Weapons - Heavy Weapons. You have to unlock some of the executions, which involves getting 10 kills with that specific gun before it unlocks. Once the execution unlocks itself, you can activate it by holding Y (Hold RS if you play on Alternate). It replaces the special punch execution, which is team specific.

A man convicted of abducting and murdering two Idaho women in 1987 was put to death on Friday by lethal injection in the state's first execution in 17 years.
