Vitas live in June 2007. ~~~~~Words in English translation Natalia. There were swans flying above the earth on a sunny day. They felt radiant and joyous in the sky together, And the earth seemed tender to them. Suddenly someone fired at the birds, and a cry burst out. "What's up with you, my love? Answer me. Without your love the sky looks so sad! Where are you, my love? Come back to me, Warm up my heart with your tender beauty". He searched for his sweetheart in the sky, called her from the nest, But the trouble answered him with silence. The swan couldn't fly away to a happier land. Music by: Jay EuDaly www.masterguitar.com Jimmie's Story rachaelsupdateblog.blogspot.com After Rachael and Justin's first baby Gracie Anne was stillborn at 23 weeks 6 days gestation- (April 19th 2008) due to Turner's Syndrome, Cystic Hygroma and Fetal Hydrops, we were all overjoyed on Jan. 6th 2009 to learn they were expecting a healthy boy. Not even a week later at 20 and 1/2 weeks gestation Rachael had some alarming symptoms and was diagnosed with incompetent cervix/pre-term labor (cause unknown). She underwent an emergency cerclage and was on hospital bedrest for a month. Then February 11th she went into labor and it could not be stopped. She had her little boy at 24 weeks 6 days gestation. This blog rachaelsupdateblog.blogspot.com tells of Rachael's time on hospital bedrest and now is telling of Jimmie's ongoing miraculous journey in the NICU.

"Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22 - 23) She drove through the early morning hours trying to push the cobwebs from her mind. This fresh disappointment came just when she had begun to hope that, this time, things would be different. Why did people always seem to let her down? The pink sky of the morning sunrise caught her attention. As the sun rose over the horizon of a new day, she couldn't help but think of God. Some familiar words from the Bible surfaced in her mind... "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" was performed by members of the Alfred Street Baptist Church Bicentennial Choir at the church's 200th anniversary celebration. The program, "200 Years, Yet Not Forsaken, Psalm 37:25", was held at the Cecil D. Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge VA on November 2nd, 2003. I know that we don't all believe in the same things, but this song means alot to me. An oldie but goodie. I wanted you to see some pictures of creation, things that I find beautiful, places I've visited, and some of the people that I hold dear to in my life like my family, my girlfriend, and my little brother,David, who was diagnosed with Meningitis when he was 6 months old. Sometimes we feel like our problems are SOOOO BIG, but when we look at God's faithfulness and when we look at all these beautiful things in the world that He's created, and we realize that we have an even BIGGER God than our problems, that's when we realize that we can trust in Him and know that things will be okay. I add this "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" to my list of favorite congregational hymns. As organist/choirmaster, I always tried to enhance the message of hymn texts with free organ accompaniments, brass and handbell flourishes during the opening processionals. The central theme of this popular hymn of praise to an unchanging God in a changing world ... is a line from Lamentations 3: 19-24: "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
