This is a beginners guide to applying individual fake lashes. Its part of a series of two films, the other being a beginners guide to strip lashes I will upload that one tomorrow. Individual lashes give a very different feel to strip lashes because they are less uniform so the effect is more random, feathery and natural looking. You can achieve different effects depending on how many you apply and which lengths you use. I love using them on my clients and myself and hope these application tips will inspire you to give them a go too. To remove, soak a cotton wool pad in eye make-up remover and hold flat over your eye firmly for several seconds. The remover will loosen and dissolve the glue. Fake lashes are everywhere right now, the major eyelash brands are making some incredible designs and lash bars are popping up all over town. No amount of mascara will ever give you the very dramatic effect of strip lashes. Although a little trickier to apply to yourself than individuals (in my opinion), it definitely worth having a go for a special night out as they can completely transform your eyes and give your make-up a totally different feel. Choose your lashes according to whats going to suit your eye shape and face best. If you really look after your lashes (clean off mascara with gentle remover after every use) and put them away properly in the box they came in, you can use them time and time again. Remove them as you would individuals by soaking a cotton wool disc in eye make-up remover and holding it flat over your eye for several seconds. This should soften the glue and loosen the lashes. Repeat if necessary. Fun and perfect for a night out, follow my beginners guide to getting the application right.

ENJOY! you can purchase these lashes at Walmart, walgreens, or cvs. lashes i used: +salon perfect demi wispies Alternative: +ardell demi wispies +YES, i wear fake eyelashes EVERYDAY. rain or shine! +I DO TAKE OFF my lashes at night. +a set of lashes can last me up to 1 1/2 month. not too sanitary...but it does! +YES, i do stack my lashes everytime i purchase them. so if you count..i wear 4 eyelashes everyday = 2 pairs. =D +a tube of lash glue can last me up to 3 months. +i remove my lashes by wetting a q-tip with makeup remover & rubbing it on the base of my lashes. the water loosens up the eyelash glue. +I dont do anything to preserve my lashes, besides-when you reuse your lashes the next day or whenever..be sure to peel off the excess glue that was left over from the last time your used your eyelashes. Two sets of lashes I used in the first look are not available to purchase in Starplaza. The White fake lashes were from the Whip My Hair store back in late December 2010. The Hotbuys Fake Lashes were released back in October 2008. What I would recommend to do instead is apply White Mascara on the top set of your lashes and add two sets of thin fake lashes. This is how i apply the individual fake eyelashes, that's just a way that works for me and it doesn't mean that's the professional way of doing it its just perfect if you don't want to spend money on extensions, I used this Eyelashes when i got married because i was debating whether to get extensions or not... I ended up with this because at the end of all we spent for the wedding this was what i could afford! lol and i don't regret it at all it was perfect! my eyes looked great that day so hope it helped and let me know what you guys think

I've been a frustrated applicator of eyelashes for a while but I've been able to vamp up my peepers with mastering the technique!
