Here is a comparison between the Haruhi Suzumiya figures that have been released in the Fraulein Revoltech series and the Figma Series. Now, we shall finally know which is better: Fraulein or Figma. Wooh! A video which I have been wanting to do for quite some time now, but didn't really have a fair comparison... until now. During the process of getting my hands on the phenominal game: Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidou for the Wii, I couldn't help but get the DX box as it included an exclusive Fraulein Revoltech Haruhi figure. This video will hopefully, help you to see which figure series is better. Fraulein or Revoltech. The only previous fair comparison was Fraulein Rin Tohsaka versus her Figma counterpart. Mikuru Asahina in all her combat waitressy glory from the episode of 'The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina' gets figmatized. I have to say that this version of Mikuru is my definite favorite. Her Combat Waitress outfit is one of Mikuru's most moe and popular and it really suits her. I mean, who doesn't know 'MIKURU BEAM!' Do stay till the end for a little stop-motion esque thing that I attempted. Added some 'low-budget' effects as well. (^.^)

Wrath's beast and motif is that of the immortal phoenix, which is awesome. He was sort of downplayed in both Ryuki and Dragon Knight, but he served a vital role in both, and just comes across as a total suit of epicness. Can the Figma DK line end with a bang? It sure did. Overall, Wrath is an excellent figure, and a great (current) end to the line's retail run. Hopefully we'll see the Survive Modes, Xaviax, and Eubulon, but right now, I'm not holding my breath. Wrath is a figure that fans of the suit will love, so to that, I recommend him. Even with his fairly minimal amount of appearances, he played a vital role in both shows, and this is simply a great figure to those that want a representation of him in their collection. Outside of a slight head remold, he's pretty much a straight up repaint of Dragon Knight, something that's to be expected. While not my favorite design, Onyx's color scheme reeks of awesome, and with that, I'm a huge fan. Spoilers ahead, in Dragon Knight, the Onyx deck was given to Kit by Eubulon after Adam, Kit's Ventaren counter part decided it was cool to go and be a douche. Let's take another look at this mold and get on with the review. Overall, Onyx is everything you'd expect. Dragon Knight in a sleek black and gold color scheme looking like a badass. If you haven't picked up Dragon Knight, Onyx is a nice, beautiful alternative to DK. Even if you have Dragon Knight, they go great together, and Onyx is worth every penny. Not my favorite Figma, but certainly one that looks plenty badass. It can't get more epic than that folks. The figma figure is based off Kagami's cosplay appearance in the Lucky Star OVA. Stay till the end for a blooper and more! (^.^)

I've honestly always preferred Wing Knight to Dragon Knight, despite my love for the whole dragon motif. I mean, not only is his visor a sword, he has a badass cape, and can summon a giant lance. That, and Matt Mullins could probably kick your ass. Anyway, now that we've had a look at Dragon Knight, let's see how Wing Knight compares. Overall, Wing Knight is definitely a lot better than Dragon Knight in my opinion. Sure, he doesn't come with as much stuff, but the cape accessory really adds to the playability of the figure. Having such freedom over a cloth cape is a really great thing. The Sword Vent is awesome too. These two releases are absolutely phenomonimal. If you are a fan of Ryuki or Dragon Knight, DO NOT pass these up. You won't be disappointed. At least you shouldn't be. In a nutshell, he was a born to be an exclusive! This release takes the Dragon Knight mold, sucks away the color, and takes away all the accessories that made Dragon Knight cool. Oh well, let's plow through this anyway. Overall, Blank Knight is only necessary if you're trying to complete the line. It was a useless form of the main character, with pretty subpar accessories and no real positives going for it despite the fact that it's a great representation. Definitely can't recommend the figure unless you're going all Pokémon on this line. However, unlike most things, I actually thought these were pretty. Well, thanks to Soundout's review, I was convinced that these were beyond pretty, and preceded to go and preorder every one on AmiAmi. Thankfully Hobby Search stocked Dragon Knight and Wing Knight, so here they are. How do they compare to Figuarts? They vent them, that's what. Overall, this is an absolutely fantastic figure that I can easily recommend to anyone that's really into Dragon Knight. If you're only into Ryuki, I can honestly recommend these over the potential Figuarts. You get the same articulation, in a nicer presented package. The Guard Vent's attachment steps are the only real negative for me on the figure. While not having anything to do with each other in Ryuki, Axe and Spear form "The Cho Bros." in Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. Spear has a gazelle motif, something pretty interesting, even in the realm of Ryuki. While he has never been one of my favorite designs (the helmet was always weird) the figure is pretty damn awesome. Can't complain at all. Overall, Spear is a situation similar to Camo, where, while the character was pretty pointless in the show, his figure is really damn awesome. Simple, but certainly awesome. Recommended for people who want a bro for Axe, but other than that, he's an easy skip, despite being a pretty nice figure. It's a situation where I think having less accessories actually makes him better. She most of seen him on I Survived a Japanese Game Show and couldn't resist.) is finally here. Thrust didn't have a huge role in Dragon Knight, showing up as the motocross racer Brad Barret, contracted by Strike to take out Wing Knight after being accused of cheating in a race. Thrust was always an iffy design for me, so let's see how his Figma stacks up. Overall, Thrust is a really nice addition to the line, and doesn't have any major flaws. The only huge flaw is that the character wasn't important to the story in the slightest, and had very little screen time, and you can't really fault the toy for that one. If you were a fan of the design, you won't be disappointed in the figure, but like Incisor, he's an easy pass just based on his character alone. Always a bit biased towards Axe, I love tigers, I love his color scheme, and Mike Moh is an incredible martial artist. That being said, Axe really is a fantastic Figma. Not the best, but definitely one of the coolest. On with the review! Overall, Axe is a fantastic release. His shoulder pads are a bit of a pain, but they're still thin enough to where it doesn't hinder too much necessary articulation. The claws and their ball jointed fingers well make the sacrifice worth it. Sculpt is great, paint is pretty good, and all around, the Strike Vent claws make this one one of the best releases in my book. Finally! Hatsune Miku arrives at Actar's Reviews. One of the main reasons that I held off the Miku Figma review is because I wanted to do the review together with the Nendroid/Nendoroid. Hatsune Miku is basically the mascot of the Vocaloid program. A voice synthesizer that allows you to create songs with her voice! For the articulation of the Miku Figma, do see my other Figma reviews. I had to cut this review short due to the lack of time. But I managed to get all the important points in. Torque has some really superb details on him, from his visor to his belt all the details are very show accurate. Like the other Dragon Knight figma's that came before him he has a really seamless look to him due to the figma style. This is helped most by the vinyl material on his hips that cover the ball joint. There isn't a whole lot I can think it say about his detail other than the fact that I think he is the most accurate and best look Torque/Zolda Figure to date. His articulation is the same as the other figmas, which I believe rival figuarts. The only thing that differs from figuarts articulation a lot is that he only has a single elbow joint, and the only hindrance lies in his shoulder pads. Otherwise a highly pose able figure. All I remember of Verde is well, nothing. Outside of Japanese Grant being voiced by Kenji Matsuda, there was literally nothing to excite me for this release. Regardless, I purchased it, and I'm glad I did. Horrible weapons aside, the sculpt is really nice, and it's pretty cool to have a lizard based Rider. While not my favorites in both toy and design, let's take a look. Overall, Camo is an easy pass. I love the sculpt, and I think it's a great figure, he just did so little in the show, and has some pretty bad weapons to boot. Unless you love Camo, he doesn't really have much going for him besides the good sculpt. Moderately recommended. Finally, after accidentally deleting half of the video, I rerecorded it today. However, please bear with my voice because I am suffering from a slight cold. BUT! I am trying my best to bring good reviews to you guys. Stay till the end for a short comparison between Figma Rin and Revoltech Rin. Frankly, get Figma Rin and stay far away from the Revoltech version. Anyways, Fate/Stay Night is a great series with Rin being one of my top 10 fav anime female characters. Definitely check it out if you have not done so yet.

She is a good figma to have. It's rather annoying that the collar pieces on her hand are a seperate piece, so when exchanging hands, try not to lose them, because they can fall out easily. Also, keep an eye out on her shirt and tie. both are soft PVC and the tie can leave a mark on her shirt. Two pic in this vid is a bit of a reference to one of the characters in BlazBlue Continuum Shift (Bardiche is the only one I can use since I have no other staves [especially one with wings on it]).
