Getting the tongues to work on ep 4 of Scream Queens was a process. First, we shot a hiss with not tongue, then a crazy looking bacon tongue pulled by a fishing wire. Finally, I rotoscoped out the tongue, scaled it, and tracked it on top of shot 1. Down and dirty, zero budget, but pretty much worked. My advice: hire real visual fx pros if at all possible, but don't give up on a shot just because you can't afford to get it done.

Funny version of One Vision, result of the practice session (November 1985- April 1986) with a video created by me. Originally the lyrics were written by Roger Taylor about Martin Luther King but then they changed the words. I do not own the song. The final line of the song (in both the studio and live versions) is "fried chicken". This was the result of trying to come up with vocal ideas to put into the song. One set of ideas included dishes from a Chinese takeaway menu which they had had for dinner that day - all the rest was scrapped but the fried chicken survived. Film of the Queen Mary 2 arriving in Fremantle, Western Australia - Thursday 17 February, 2011. I wanted to capture the size and immensity of the ship as she sails into port. I chose the music specifically to create a sense of almost gothic awe (well, that's my intent at any rate). There is something almost reverential in the music - something that seems curiously appropriate when you see such an immense wall of steel glide past close enough to touch. It was an awesome experience to witness - a moment shared with my partner and his mother (who both make a brief cameo appearance). We later sailed on the QM2 - from Fremantle to Sydney. Wonderful. Filmed on JVC EVERIO GZ-X9000, edited with Final Cut Express 4.

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES FINALLY I just did this literally an hour ago, completely cold, first try (obviously I've failed a few times back in 2008/9...but first time this year). I honestly haven't touched the game in at least 18 months. What really made me quit trying (only got to the "urgh...this can't be" (35 HP is remaining) message once) was the annoying cut-scenes sucking an extra 6 minutes on every attempt, and breaking up my rhythm. My god...I thought I never would be able to do this! Comments from me: -I was pretty upset when I got stuck on double Shine Sprites when she got invincible - yes, you have to do damage to keep that running! Bad timing. -I was completely floored at 6:46, saving TWO Life Shrooms...then 7:02 happened. I thought the run was over at this point, and I'd use the rest of this run as practice, since I was feeling pretty warmed up. -I consider myself EXTREMELY lucky that her hands never tried to suck HP in the actual final fight. This is a pretty tough move to superguard and the healing really hurts... -I consider myself pretty lucky that she only ended up using one confuse breath in the actual final fight - poison has wrecked me before, and I needed all the SP I could get to keep the damage going (that's really the key to the run - you're going to run out of Life Shrooms and Boo Sheets unless you keep going). I tactically took her super charged attack (superguarding on that is still wonky) and gladly took that over status issues. -If you <b>...</b>
