Fishing for Smallmouth Bass on Oxtongue Lake in Northern Ontario, using poppers and wacky rigged senkos with the K&J Tackle Wacky RIG`R. We used the Phenix Lures 5inch Senkos in Bubblegum colours, the Storm Chug Bugs in Black and the Matzuo Lures Popper. They all produced large numbers of fish. In this video, you see me catch only 4 fish, however, those are not the only fish that we catch. We caught 2 "big fiish", and we caught many in the 12 and 14 inch range. June 10, 2010 - I was fishing at Dufield Pond in Woodstock, IL with live minnows and had about a 2lb bass on my line and went to get the camera to take a picture and when i came back this pike was on my line! Look at part 2 to see the pike spit the bass back out! I can't believe this pike was going to eat this big of a bass! AWESOME DAY! By far the best pond I've ever fished.

In new ponds small (1-2") bluegill, redear sunfish, and fathead minnows are stocked to establish a forage base. Once the forage base is established, we then stock the largmouth bass. We stock the coppernose bluegill and the F1, northern strain, or florida strain largemouth bass. The redear sunfish are also known as shellcrakers. Hybrid striped bass (aka stripers, hybrids) are stocked to provide fisherman an optional sportfish to catch.

Ilocano Style Fishing @ the 08 Rio Vista Bass Festival. I went fishing with one of my mentors "Frankie D". This guy put us on the fish, too bad we were all sleeping on the job. Rome E Rome pulled one fish a day for three days. I ended up with a nice 12 pounder. Frankie killed it, landing nine plus fish over the two day stretch. It was fun and the boys had a great time. I went fishing for Walleye Saturday morning for a couple of hours on the Winnipeg River in Ontario. I caught some keepers as well as some that were too big to keep - and also caught a couple of Smallmouth Bass and a nice Northern Pike. The area I was fishing is between Kenora and Minaki - around The Dalles.

This was my last BASS trip of 2008. As you can see, we ended it with a BANG!!! IMDEISSEL had expressed interest with my guiding service for months. So, like a man (with a man-card), I invited him with some (ring-leader-esque) requirements... 1. If you say you are going to go, then go...CHECK!!! 2. Please answer all correspondences promptly...CHECK!!! 3. Show up on time...CHECK!!! 4. Bring MAN-CARD...CHECK!!! 5. Swear this fishing hole and mystery bait to secrecy...CHECK!!! 6. Don't OUT-FISH your guide...OOPS!!! In return, I made him a believer in BRAVO ZULU OUTDOOR GUIDED ADVENTURES!!! I can honestly say IMDEISSEL accomplished all the requirements with ease with the exception of owning me in the fishing department. In the end, we had a blast. But don't believe me, believe the video. The Kayaks...Wilderness PUNGO 100 and Malibu Mini X. They performed flawlessly. IMDEISSEL put on a freaking clinic. He caught the biggest largemouth, smallmouth bass, and bluegill. I mangaged to catch some nice bass and the only northern pike. I went on 3 bass trips this year. That is all. And all are documented on youtube. You can say my bass fishing trips went well this year. And forgive me, but this fishing location and the bait we used will remain a mystery. Till next year... bitter (I AM MAN!!!)
