Played on a Bang & Olufsen Beogram turntable model RX 2. Playing through a Pioneer SX 1080 Receiver bi-amped using Magneplanar Magnepan speakers with a powerd 12" sub-woofer. B&O is about as sleek and modern in appearance as you can get with their high end ultra modern styled stereo gear, and I found this in a thrift store of all places. These turntables were quite pricey when new, and command a high price used today. The stylus and cartridge are in excellent condition.. It is very elegantly styled with as few knobs etc., as possible to not detract from its sleek clean design. The tonearm does not even have a tonearm rest, it just sits suspended in air. It determines the speed and record size by the spindle. When starting to play you will notice the record rise about 1/4 of an inch off the turntable. If it was a 12" 33RPM record the weight would keep the spindle down and it would change speed to 33 and index for a 12" record. The speed and index sizing can be overridden for odd records like 7" 33 or 12" 45 RPM.
