This is the third part of a four part series of videos taken from the Wings of POWER 3 P-47 Razorback in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Part 1: "Wings of POWER 3 P-47 Cockpit Familiarization with Accu-Sim" Part 2: Startup and Takeoff Demonstration with Accu-Sim In this Part 3: "In Flight Flaps Failure," you will see what happens when a flap gives way at high speed. If you have not seen part 2 yet, it is recommended that you watch the four part series in order. Originally, this was to be a single video of a "Startup and Takeoff demonstration" but it turned into four parts after a high speed flaps failure turned into an emergency landing. Also while Accu-Sim makes this aircraft very realistic, any and all damage or undesirable things that could occur in the real aircraft can be turned off with a single switch. This switch is for those who don't have the ability to truly fly a real warbird of this type but still want to experience the in-depth realism and sound.

flap - level 6 - XNA Indie XBOX 360 Sprite Game
Flap is an XNA sprite game (2D). Running here on an XBOX 360 and captured using a small USB capture card. We've been working on Flap for a little while with input from the kids (art) and friends (music). It's been a lot of fun creating Flap; it is designed to be simple in the early levels with a linear difficulty curve. The lower levels have been playtested by my kids and become tricky in places; the game gets quite frentic at the higher levels. Flap does feature some basic shader effects but is not designed to show the xbox at its best! We hope to convert to Android platform, Windows Phone as well as Apple.
