Following the lifting of a gag order, it was revealed Sunday that Israeli security forces have arrested two Palestinian teenagers, for the murder of five members of the Fogel family on the night of March 11th. Amjad Awad, and Hakim Awad, both admitted to committing the murders, and claim to be members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The suspects admitted that they entered the settlement of Itamar, and murdered Ehud and Ruth Fogel, along with two of their young children, Yoav 11, and Elad 4, before later returning to kill 3 month old Hadas, and finally fleeing the scene. Six additional Palestinian suspects were also arrested in connection to the crime. The six allegedly aided the two alleged perpetrators in hiding the murder weapons and in suppressing additional evidence.

On Sunday, Twenty-thousand people, at the Givat Shaul cemetery in Jerusalem, escorted the bodies of the five members of the Fogel family, who were brutally murdered Friday night in the West Bank settlement of Itamar. Udi, 36, his wife Ruth, 35, and their children Yoav, 11, Elad, 4 and Hadas, 3 months were stabbed to death by a terrorist who infiltrated the settlement. Jack Fogel speaks of his experiance as a Holocaust Survivor for the Eyewitness Project produced my the Jewish Holocaust Centre Melbourne Australia. When the war broke out, Jack (Jakob) was fifteen years old, living in Turek, Poland. In 1940, the Nazis created a ghetto by clearing a street in the town and forcing all the Jews into it. In the summer of 1940 Jack was imprisoned in a labour camp in Poznan. He worked in camps in the area until 1943 when he was deported to Auschwitz. Upon arrival he was taken to a shower room, shaved, given striped prison clothing and tattooed. From then on Jack was only called by his number: 140964. Jack was taken to Fürstengrube, a coal mine 30 km from Auschwitz, where the work was hard and the conditions were horrific. In early 1945 the inmates marched for several days through the cold and snow. They were subsequently transported by train to Germany, then by barge to the Baltic Sea. They were led to ships on Lübeck Bay and forced below deck. After some time they heard bombs and explosions, which turned out to be from the British RAF in the mistaken belief that there were German troops on board. More than 7000 concentration camp prisoners died that day, 3 May 1945, a few days before Germany surrendered.

A Palestinian entered the home of an Israeli family in Itamar (Israel) and stabbed to death the couple and three children. The attack reportedly occurred in Itamar settlement near Nablus on Friday night (March, 11 2011). About 100 families live in that area. Two children escaped and survived the attack, according to Israel's Army Radio. The victims include a one-month baby and two children, 11 and 3. The Israeli army is now searching the area as well as surrounding villages for the suspect. The Itamar settlement was the scene of an attack in 2002 when a Palestinian gunmen killed five Israelis and injured several more.
