DIY Folding Sawhorses- How To Build

Build yourself some sturdy space saving sawhorses! I came up with these because I wanted a sawhorse that could be stored easily, folded and unfolded easily and be very sturdy, these definately fit the bill. For more details visit my blog: woodworkingtrip.blogspot.com Feel free to comment and ask any questions you may have, subscribe if you would like too! I work construction and I have a pair of these that are used quite often on the job. They have held up very well for the six months or so they have been in service. They have definately been loaded down. Last week while building a large dock with treated 2x6 decking, there were at least 30 or more 2x6x16's on them and they never complained. I have a few more things to put on Youtube that gohand in hand with these sawhorses. One is a miter saw stand that sits on top of the sawhorses and makes using the saw much easier than other methods. Another is a plywood cutting table that definately helps with ripping plywood.

To complete this How-To you will need: A T-shirt A flat surface Step 1: Lay the shirt on a table Lay your shirt down sideways and faceup on the table so that the neck is to your right. Step 2: Pinch the shirt in two places With your right hand, pinch the shirt at the shoulder, halfway between the sleeve and neckline farthest away from you; with your other hand, pinch the shirt halfway down from the first pinch. Tip: Make sure you're gripping both the top and bottom layers of the shirt. Step 3: Cross your hands While pinching the two points, cross your right hand over your left hand, bringing the shoulder to the shirt's bottom hem on the side farthest away from you. Without letting go of the first pinch of material, grab the hem too. Step 4: Lift the shirt Lift the shirt so that it's hanging in front of you. Without letting go of the shirt, uncross your arms and pull the fold taut as you do. Step 5: Drape to finish Place the hanging sleeve on the table, and carefully drape the folded portion over it. Done! Thanks ...

Origami Magic Ball by Kade Chan (Folding Instructions) ~Part One~

Difficulty: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (High Intermediate) This video demonstrates how to fold an Origami Magic Ball designed by Kade Chan. This is one of the most well known origami models on YouTube, however not many of the tutorials went into great detail on how to fold each part. This video will explain each part of the Magic Ball in a very detailed manner. I hope you enjoy the videos, and if you have any questions about the magic ball, please comment below or send me a message! Thanks for watching! Also, special thanks to Kade Chan for giving me permission to create this video! Please visit Kade Chan's website at: tw.myblog.yahoo.com and his Flickr Photostream at: www.flickr.com FAQ: Q: Can I use A4 (printer paper) to fold the magic ball? A: Yes, but you will have to cut it (since A4 has the dimensions of 8.5" x 11", which is not 1:2 ratio). To make the largest rectangle from a sheet of A4, cut the paper to the dimensions of 11" x 5.5." If this is your first time folding the magic ball, however, I would not recommend using paper this size. See the next question for information on how to purchase larger paper. --------- Q: I do not have paper that is 20cm x 40cm or larger. Where can I purchase such large paper? A: Kraft paper is a cheap type of paper that typically comes in large rolls. It can be purchased in practically any office or arts and crafts store, and it is relatively inexpensive. Some popular stores which sell kraft paper include: OfficeMax, Staples, etc. You can also ...
