IPXzerg vs iloveOov @ Ride of Valkyries This game is from the Cyon MSL (October 2005 - January 2006), where in the finals ChoJJa in an excellent performance beat sAviOr 3-1 showing the maestro had to work on his ZvZ, sAviOr also lost to ChoJJa in the Semi-Finals WB 2-3, therefore had to go to the LB-2 to face iloveOov who has just won LB-1 over MuMyung 3-1, and this is when this game happends, so now you understand why I told you all that :-) Cyon MSL, LB-2, winner goes to meet ChoJJa in the Grand Finals, loser has to settle for 3rd place this MSL. Well you already know who won, its a famous game anyway, but have you ever seen it in sAviOr first person view? if I said before sAviOr had ZvZ problems at the time, this game shows he had no ZvT issues :-) Once the final clash starts at 21:30 it becomes every Terran's worst nightmare, very scray use of swarm. Conclusion: if the map is split into half and a final faceoff is inevitable, don't let sAviOr make the first move, it will be your last :-)

Interview with TossGirl (10th June 2006) STARCRAFT Q: Do you intend to keep playing starcraft for a long time or will you move on and try new challenges? A: I don't have anything on my mind except playing StarCraft. Q: What is your average APM (Actions Per Minute) and do you think it's a reflection of a person's skill? A: My APM is around 360. I used to play the piano when I was young so my fingers have been very fast since I was young. It was about 280 when I started, but it increased to 360. By looking at other people's APM, you kind of want to be as fast as them so if you try, you will be able to get faster. I don't think you must have high APM to be a good player. Q: What does make a good player, if it's not just APM? A: Making good decisions and making the right micro will make you better. Actually there are many low APM players who are really good. I think Terran players must have faster APM when they do bionic (MnM's) than going meca (teching). Q: Why did you switch from Protoss to Terran? While at the same time winning his first OSL title vs NaDa @ ShinHan OSL (S3) Finals. PuSan on the other hand, wasn't exactly at his best shape last season, nor is he now.. Even though he did show us some excellent games in the offline qualifiers and advanced. Nower days ZeuS is well known for his personality more than his gaming skill, but in the past he was known for both :-) his best achievement was 2nd place at NHN Hangame OSL (March 2004) where he lost to Nal_Ra in the great PvP finals. I'm quite sure this game was played at the GolfKing MSL (GoRush won over NaDa @ Finals) where sAviOr really started to show the first signs of his monstrosity, only to fully evolve at the following Uzoo MSL where he won over Reach in the finals, 08/2005 and started his reign of terror :-) lost the next Cyon MSL to ChoJJa in the first ever (and hopefully last, due to very short games) ZvZ finals, and won the following Pringles MSL vs Nal_Ra, and we all know how things continued since then :-) Notice sAviOr's action at 13:07, thats his "I'm going to make you type GG" action, its a well known fact: Never let sAviOr play the move he plays at 13:07, if you do you're dead :-) lol also note this is an old VOD, sAviOr's style has greatly changed since then, you would NEVER see sAviOr making that many sunkens today. Note: sound belogs to actual game, not from sAviOr's end, lets you see how many things the observers really miss in those games, lots of small attacks from ZeuS/sAviOr that the observers never notice. It was played either in 1999 or 2000, not sure exactly. ssamjang took 2nd place of the first ever OSL in 1999. I wanted to cheese nuke the guy but forgot about not having Ghost range ... The Terran in this game somehow lost his concept because of the nukes, as he started to pick up in his game again I switched to wraiths slowing him down yet again. I will try the BO again some day and see if I can succeed with it :-) The T in this match had around 170 apm, but I only started to feel them as he started to fight the contain, It felt like I was suddenly playing a different person, as if a better player took over the controls. Njoy!
