Which is really saying something, because you fumeheads are all over the place when it comes to what you like. One of the requesters is my viewer Daril, who writes: "You should definitely review Alien. I love Alien because it makes me think of voodoo. It smells very feminine on paper but on the skin, it's masculine...and that's weird. The smell is hypnotizing at first, but even if you're not wearing it and someone around you is - you will smell it all day." What? Voodoo perfume? You're talking to a fragrance thrillseeker here, and that stuff is catnip. I couldn't wait to smell me some Alien. The opening smells like a bitter clash between grapefruit and milk, which in real life would result in curdling, but in the Alien world, results in fascination. I get a blast of menthol, too, and it feels really cold on my skin which might be a psychological trick. Either that or I'm losing my mind. This cold bitter milkiness hangs in there, and then I start to pick up on a rich sambac jasmine. There's a hint of the suntan lotion sweetness that sambac lends to a fragrance. It gives Alien humanity and sunshine. But the jasmine never actually melds with <b>...</b>

Watch the video of the full song: www.youtube.com Transcript: Hypnotic Poison by Christian Dior is a decadent oriental that vibrates between unusual and plain old weird. At the start, this eau de toilette is thick, flat, and borderline musty. Kind of like paste that almost smells good enough to eat because of a slight touch of almond sweetness. But if you did eat it, you wouldn't be very happy with yourself, cuz you just ate paste. Because of the thickness, I find Hypnotic Poison a little suffocating when I first put it on. I actually feel claustrophobic, like I'm stuck inside a giant papier-mache dessert glued together with that aforementioned paste. Wait! Did you hear a woman's voice coming out of that papier-mache plum-almond-coconut tart? That was weird. For me, Hypnotic Poison finally achieves lift-off when the jasmine make a break for it. The jasmine is a variety called sambac, which is particularly heady and fleshy. There's also a jacaranda wood accord, which has kind of an intimate salty smell. Here's where the Hypnotic Poison's rich vanilla kicks it into a languid, sexy dance, instead of sitting on my skin like a slug. Made out of paste. Because I find Hypnotic Poison so challenging, I'd <b>...</b>

This eau de toilette is elegant, sophisticated, and self-sufficient. The opening isn't a come-hither deal. It's a little clinical, with a hint of something that smells like dry tobacco. That something turns out to be iris - the single most expensive perfume ingredient in the world. One kilogram of Italian iris butter will set you back $30000. And what do you get for your money? You get a flower that doesn't smell floral. Iris actually smells woody and leathery. The effect is austere, but regal. As it goes along, No. 19 gets subtly more feminine, with appearance of some low-key florals that include jasmine, rose and hyacinth. But No. 19 never quite rolls over into girliness. It stays in control with galbanum, a bitter green plant resin, along with grassy vetiver. And that leathery iris lets you know who's boss. No. 19 is not a needy perfume. It's polished and aloof, and doesn't need reinforcement from yes men to do its job. When it comes to clothes, the Devil might wear Prada, but as for perfume, the Devil definitely wears No.19. My take of "Fahrenheit" by: Christian Dior (1988) one of the best scents i have ever smelled. This review is in response to Tim's giveaway. Just wanted to let his "contestants" know exactly what they are getting. (In my honest opinion) I in no way want to win just want to inform! My take on Giorgio Armani's Attitude. Released in 2007, Perfumer-Annick Menardo, Alberto Morillas, Olivier Cresp. A very underrated fragrance in my opinion with a great coffee/patchouli/lemon vibe and my favorite from Armani. My Ratings Overall Smell/Compliments-9/10 Projection-9/10 Longevity-7.5/10-I get around 6-8 hours but at most 8 Uniqueness-9/10 Versatility-7/10 Really only see being good in Fall/Winter, best for nights out Overall-8.75/10 Has some longevity and versatility issues but otherwise a great fragrance and my personal favorite from the Armani line.

This eau de toilette is a sheer citrus with just enough woodiness and warmth to set it apart from a standard cologne. The creator is Jean Claude Ellena, master of complex compositions that wear very transparently...like all his Hermes creations: Terre d'Hermès, Kelly Caleche, Jardin un Mediterranee, his Bulgari Green Tea, Frederic Malle L'eau d'Hiver, he did that one...busy guy! Right off the first spray, Voyage d'Hermès is a gin and tonic: aromatic with lemon/lime and herbs. It's crisp, it's refreshing, it's sporty -- say it in French, it sounds fancy: "C'est tres sportif!" If it is a sports fragrance, it's one with brains and taste. Which means it can't be a sports fragrance. To begin with, Voyage d'Hermès kind of reminded me of Annick Goutal Eau d'Hadrien, but when I sprayed them both on to compare, Eau d'Hadrien was blockier, more "lemon, wood, arrrr, klonk!", and by contrast, Voyage d'Hermès was smoooooove. Voyage d'Hermès is more precision engineered. After the gin and tonic start, the sparkling top notes ease back into the mix, which becomes an ambient hum of cedarwood, pepper, and clean musk.
