What You'll Need --------------------------------------------------------------------- * Teasing comb * Styling comb * Lightweight hairspray * Bobby pins Step 1: Prep Your Hair --------------------------------------------------------------------- If your hair doesn't already have a natural wave to it, you can set it before you start working with it. You might also want to consider a side part since a french twist is generally swept up off your neck and to one side. Step 2: Tease the Top --------------------------------------------------------------------- Take a section of hair on the top of your head and clip the front part of it out of the way. With the lower layers, take a small section and back comb it starting about an inch from the scalp and using short, quick strokes. Spray each teased layer with hairspray. Step 3: Lace the Middle Layers --------------------------------------------------------------------- The closer you get to the top, the more you should use a lacing technique. This means in addition to the short, quick strokes, you'll also want to lightly brush it down until it joins the rest of the hair. How to do a French Twist Hair Style with the Flexi Barette
The classic French Twist will give you the look of a professional. Begin with a loose ponytail, then twist the hair up toward the top of the head. Grab the twist in the middle, fold ends down, and turn the hair into the twist. Continue to twist and roll the hair to complete the look. How to use a hair fork french twist
Style your hair up with class and ease with this beautiful wooden hair claw you can create many hair styles. Here is how you do a french twist. Twist hair clockwise 3-4 times, then bring up to top of head. Tuck ends under twist. Hold hair claw upside down or beads forward and hook roll side of twist. Keep going about ½ in and hook some hair on head, then flip and wiggle claw down through twist. You can leave ends out to fall over the twist if desired. . French Twist for Long Hair
I don't have a very long hair but I made this style to the others who has a very long hair. It works pretty well unless if your hair is so fine or too thick. Just be patient and pratice it. You can also try this style with leaving some hair out. If you have a long hair this is an easer way to twist your hair. I didn't have a comb or sticks so I used a simple barette.
